Bahtum Enah Mbi Mbong is Officially Crowned King of Waabang Dynasty.

That was on the occasion of his official presentation to the public on Friday the 10th of March 2023 that took place in the palace court yard and esplanade in the presence of Menchum Fons led by the Fon of Aghem Mbambi III and the administration.



Menchum Division was in the line of history last week, for allowing the recognition and official presentation of the new king of Waabang Dynasty under Zonghokwo village.

The new position he holds today is king of Waabang Dynasty in Zonghokwo Fondom. It implies that he is the immediate assistant to Fon Bahmbi lll who doubles as the paramount Crown of Aghem Federation.

By the same exercise, it is now official that Fon Bahtum Enah Mbi Mbong is coronated King of Waabang dynasty and pays allegiance to the Aghem Federation.

That is why the coronation exercise was done by Fon Mbambi III who dispense of those powers.

The new crowns King of Waabang Bahtum Enah Mbi Mbong is a seasoned Teacher, a career pedagogue who has been called by his ancestors to pilot the affairs of the said dynasty to the direction of peace building, conflict resolution, good governance and sustainable village Administration.

The authorities at the installation ceremony prescribed to the new king the need for good will and the fear of the lord in all he does, think or say.

Menchum Fon’s Union presence was quite noticed and they were very much instrumental in the success story.

At the occasion looking elated, the new Fon talking to the press, drew inspiration from the book of Romans Chp:13 Verse 1-5 in the Bible and said, he is happy to be a quarter head in the service of Jesus Christ since kings are quarter heads in the kingdom of God.

He also took commitment to be selfless as he lead his people with all devotion and the fear of the Lord.

This decision was arrived at and motivated by the news agency’s millennium plan of action to combat climate change at all front starting from schools into the society and amongst old persons.

With a Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN), a coalition against climate change, a Journal Against Climate Change, a Climate Action zone, a CIG for technical and sustainable development, a resource and a climate research center in the making, Cameroon schools should start speaking and learning the language of CLIMATE that is introducing the CLIMATE CULTURAL HERITAGE IN Cameroon SCHOOLS/COLLEGES.

The mission of this vast climate media campaign with operation “Climate Solution Action (CSA)" in all Cameroon schools, is to fine tune the call and drum for it’s implementation in the primary, secondary and the University level.

Multiply a cream of climate experts who will carry on the year long campaign and teaching,

Cause the subject to be voted into law and implemented,.

The WORLD ECHOES MEDIA GROUP SCHOOL led climate action solution campaign in Cameroon following our calendar, begins on the 30th of March 2023 and shall run up to the opening of next academic year (2023/2024).

Activities marking the exercise will be;

-The launching and the designation of the first CLIMATE CONSCIOUS SCHOOLS/College in Cameroon,

-Holding of an enlarged Press Briefing at the Regional College of Agriculture Bambili (RCA) Conference Hall.

-Holding talk with Agric experts, Directors, school officials, staffs, prefects and students

-Holding of meetings with education stake holders, Governors, SDOs, DOs, Mayor’s, MPs, Minister etc.

-Launching of “School Climate Challenge”

- Holding radio talk, running of radio, TV spots,Caravan march etc.

-Erection of information bill boards, hanging of banners, distribution of flyers and caravan display.

These in brief are the activities that will accompany our year long climate school led media campaign to cause the teaching of Climate Action Solution in Cameroon schools as a subject.

The slogan we have adopted for the school climate advocacy campaign is “United for Climate action solution in Cameroon Schools”.


Program placed under the the Distinguished Patronage of the Director Billa Vitalis and in Partnership with the Regional college of Agriculture Bambili.

Philemon Yang, CPDM Led Delegation Launch 2023 Senatorial Campaigns in Bamenda in Pomp and Fanfare

Basically nine days to the slated March 12th, 2023 Senatorial elections in the political agenda of Cameroon  for 140 contestants of the CPDM all over the National territory, the Philemon Yang Led Delegation of the CPDM of the North West launched it’s campaigns in grand style.

That was at the Bamenda Congress hall full to capacity on Saturday the 25th of February 2023 where speech, campaign strategies were outlined and animation carried a better half of the day.


Also in ensue, was the official presentation of the seven candidates who will have to face the SDF list to name; Emma Lafon, Ngafesson Emmanuel, Prof. Karl Mbufong, Prof. Neba Ndo Sirri, Enwe Francis, Kobenge Sikedi Bomeh, Fointama Hilda Aluma.



Yang in his launching speech said, the objectives of the party as they go fishing for councilors in the March election contest, will be to complete decentralization, guarantee an ever more dynamic local democracy and catalyze the socio-economic development of the councils and Regions, in accordance with the law on the general code of decentralization, promulgated by the President of the Republic on the 19 of December 2019.


According to the North West CPDM led Delegation, VOTING FOR THE LIST OF CPDM CANDIDATES means saying resolutely yes to a consolidated Senate for a successful decentralization that meets the expectations of it’s compatriots;







§  It means, saying resolutely yes to the strengthening of peace, unity, democracy and progress at the local level, as bulwarks and catalysts of peace, unity, democracy and progress at the national level.

§  It means saying resolutely yes to the continued implementation by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, of his visionary project for the emergence of the country and the continuous improvement of living conditions for all Cameroonians.

DDR North West Inmate Passes NASLA Exams

This was made known and disclosed to the press on Wednesday the 1st of March 2023 by the DDR Director for the North West kum Henry in his office to the press.

How it all came about, it is Divine mystery as the ambitious young separatist fighter who laid down arms years ago, after demobilization, took up to studies, made it in flying colors and with deep ambition for the public service enrolled for the last competitive entrance exam at NASLA and made it.

That is exactly the story the Director of DDR North West center kum Henry recounted to the press. Extremely happy about the said Blessing’s major under taking that is opening her many doors of opportunities, he called on all at the center not to sleep on their laurels.

He also ceased the singular opportunity to call on the boys in the bushes to lay down their arms and come to the center to be reintegrated back in the society.

Saying that, “ if Blessing has made it today at NASLA, every other separatist fighter can. It starts first with the will and the firm conviction or commitment to start a new life with a center which has all it doors open and a welcoming correcting team or staff”.

Those were the words of the North West DDR boss in deep contentment after receiving the good news of one of his making it in the last competitive entrance exam into the National school of Local Administration in the South West.

Blessing’s success in the competitive exams comes to throw more light on the positive impact of the center and the committed efforts of the correcting staffs.

To kum Henry, “the best way out of the bush is the DDR center, the results are there and they speak volume”.

Blessing on her part said the result only comes to reanimate more hope in her for a promising future and she appeals to her other mates in the bush to lay down arms and come to the center, for it is the only way out of the bush.
