Report coming in from our sources in Batibo holds that a sequence of killing has been perpetrated by the Cameroon army that has gone increasingly outright and brutal as the struggle for Southern Cameroon independence grows in momentum with armed groups on the rise in their hide outs of Momo, Menchum, Boyo, and parts of Mezam.

Sources on the ground confirm that Momo, in general and Batibo in particular is deserted as the armies intensify the search of its Divisional Officer kidnapped in the early days of the struggle that is mid 2017 (now alleged to have been murdered by secessionists).

The planned raids and orchestrated killings come from the back drop of the increased attacks of secessionist’s forces on the La Republic forces.

Their hit and run tactics has radicalized the Cameroonian army to an extend that they have resorted to the killing of civilians who they think are those hiding and protecting the Ambazonian Defense force (ADF) in solidarity with the struggle.

The army is increasingly growing wild as Presidential election approaches on the 7^th of October, as secessionist vow, it will not take place in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon dubbed Ambazonian territory.

As such, the live of the English speaking population of Cameroon in consonance, is greatly at risk. Which is why the number of internally displaced persons are increasing daily from cross fire shooting.

The recent and continues raid on Batibo soil right up to the Hospital on the 27^th and 28^th of July described bloody, has left many souls to perish and families on the run and why not languishing.

The case of Pa Divine N. Ngoh a poor renown and prominent Batibo tapper who was brutally murdered in the cross fire between La Republic and armed secessionist group on his way back from the farmed likened to a secessionist is apparent. As we report the wife, Ngoh Pascaline Anya, and four children, Ngoh Junior Mbah 19, Ngoh Cynthia Enjei 14, Ngoh Frankline Ndansi 10, and Ngoh Peaceful Njei who is six years of age are on the run. Increased search is yet to confirm whether they are still alive or have crossed over to Nigeria as other internally displaced persons have done seeking refuge and security.

The civil war in Anglophone Cameroon, call it better still genocide which is increasingly growing in momentum gives no assurance of living to see the following day. As the law is no longer the sole concern of the government but a crack down on secessionists who want to divide the country at all cost because of increased marginalization from their French counterparts for well over 60 years now.
