Call for National Dialogue and Reconciliation
Meeting,
Ø
Decentralization & Federation Top on the
Agenda
It is now crystal clear from the
historic rite of oath policy speech of the Head of State President Paul Biya
that he is ready to solve the Anglopone problem and holds the crisis as one of
his major task to accomplish as he takes office on the 6th of
November 2018.
Appealing to separatist armed
groups in the bush to drop their weapons and join the dialogue table according
to political pundits, is already a giant step in the right direction and a
manifestation of good will by the head of state President Paul Biya in the
direction of looking for a lasting solution to the ongoing Anglophone crisis.
From his speech, Cameroonians in
their general opinion most especially those of English speaking extraction are
already seeing Biya solving the Anglophone problem through the manifestation of
good faith.
It should be noted, that the
historic rite of oath ceremony comes at the foot hills of another historic show
in the history of Anglophone struggle that is the court ruling highly awaited on
47 abducted Ambazonian leaders from Nigeria coming up on the 15 of November.
The Judgment in question gives Mr Biya the latitude to exercise his powers of
exonerating the sentenced for a level playing ground or the dialogue table to
be set for the much longed national discuss and reconciliation meeting.
From the way events are
unfolding, optimist in their line of reason and reading from the political hand
writings on the walls, already know that 47 abducted Ambazonians leaders will be sentenced for crimes against the
state, treason and will later on in the days ahead be granted amnesty and send
to bring in fellow brother in the bush holding arms against the state to the
dialogue table and that will be the beginning and the end of the Anglophone
crisis.
Amnesty to 47 Ambazoninian
leaders will be the preliminary phase of wooing separatists’ leaders in the
bush holding arms to the dialogue table, hence the beginning of a solution to
the long lasting problem affecting Cameroon government.
This line of action puts Biya to
task on what to offer the Anglophones after the dialogue table is set, which he
made very clear, Federation which comes to strengthen decentralization.
The days ahead from the look of
things in Cameroon history are very promising most especially as all eyes were
on to see if she will jump into post election violence after elections which
never came to pass, God loves and has good plans for Cameroon, says optimist
contrary to the wishes of pessimists.
