Cardinal Tumi’s AAC
III Now Out of Place
Ř As Ayuke & Co Set Pace for
Broad Base Dialogue with Most Dreaded Precondition to Gov’t
-Unconditional cessation of hostilities and complete
withdrawal of all occupation forces by La Republique du Cameroun that declared
and is presently prosecuting this genocidal war against the Peace Loving people
of the Southern Cameroon,
-Release of all detainees, war deads and the handing over of
the same to the United Nations with accurate head count and recording;
-Observation of a ceasefire by both parties;
-Withdrawal of Colonial Administrators, Governors, Senior
Divisional Officers, and Divisional officers;
- Withdrawal of all La Republique Du Cameroun Colonial Civil
Servants;
-The two withdrawals up, will ensure that talks do not
collapse because a Colonial Officer gave contradictory orders that can cause
renewed conflagration,
-The moving into Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) of a UN
Peace Keeping Force.
With the above preconditions or conditions for talk one
cannot arguably deny the fact that there is obviously no need for the Tumi’s
AAC III conference which should have bore the mandate or responsibility to set
the pace for the agenda and preconditions for dialogue.
Where we are, at this juncture, going by the rhythm of the
crises which is gradually growing to a full scale war, there is absolute need
for an upper hand from the church most especially from a World church body or a
Universal church to come in and broker for peace. The Vatican carries such a
great potential which was seen in Emeritus Cardinal Tumi but he misfired along
the line as many will think, or just because he was a Cameroonian. To many
thinking minds, “an extra voice still from the church and not a Cameroonian may
do good to the Anglophone struggle and put things to the rest”. According to them the Pope ( Francis) who is
the Holy see through his Apostolic Nuncio Julio Murat and most Venerated
Cardinal Arinze Francis of Nigeria can reanimate the show for instant peace to
be reinstituted in Cameroon, particularly in the English speaking parts hit
tremendously by crisis.
The UN, all other world bodies and countries had stated
their stands after the last UN Security Council hearing that the problem in
Cameroon is internal and should single handedly be handled by its officials,
meaning at a point in time where the government is unable, the church has the
“locus standing” to come in, given that they carry a huge certain degree of
trust. That is why in the early 2017 when things were going bananas with the
crisis, the advent of Cardinal Tumi and Elie Smith’s AAC III was welcomed with
much Awe, but was later pushed aside since she was clamoring for national
reconciliation and not the much cherished independence by Ambazonians.
Where we are, there
is no gain saying here that the said conference has made several attempts to
hold, yet full of ambiguity was subjected to serious threats from separatists
and restoration forces. This was because; the conference and conference
organizers were questionable.
Caught in the web and facing horrible threats daily emeritus
Tumi and Eli Smith the communication officer has been barking in the corridors
and unable to bring disagreeing parties on the same table and put them under
the same thinking cap.
It is unfortunate, but those who have read well the hand
writings on the walls, AAC III conclave did not start off on good footings. As
such there is absolute need for a separate credible high religious authority to
come in and broker for the much needed peace in Anglophone Cameroon.
Which is why all attentions are directed to the Vatican,
through the Apostolic nuncio Julio Murat and Tumi’s much celeberated colleague
from Nigeria cardinal Francis Arinze.
At this juncture, as I report, AAC III from the bold step
recently taken by Seseko Ayuke and Co, drafting and sending out terms and
conditions for a broad base dialogue, Cardinal Tumi and Smith are to an extend
no longer of any use, as the charged responsible has already been accomplished
by the Nera 10 Victims supposed leaders of Ambazonians disowned by Sako and the
IG for incapacity since they are locked up in Kondengui maximum security
prison.
The action by the Nera 10 victims, even dough clouded with a
lot of suspicions, has gone a long way, to;
-Prove that they are not incapacitated and will not allow
Dr. Sako to play over their intelligence with words and manipulations
-Clears the doubt in the minds of Southern Cameroonians that
they have not stroke a deal with the regime and want to kill the struggle
-Frustrate plans of activists abroad to discredit them and
take up leadership
-Rules in the indirect call for dialogues which the world
thinks they are the ones blocking.
The symbolic historic actions of Ayuke and Co it must be
noted, to be playing a fast one on the
government who will want to initiate dialogue without any precondition,
Dr. Sako and his gang of power mongers
who wanted to tactfully and tacitly remove them from the game. Affaire a
suivre….
