Pinyin Ambazonia Restoration Force under Okoro have Burn Down Baligham Palace, looted, killed and catered away valuables.
The
heart of the Bali Fandoms in the North West Region of Cameroon in Santa Sub-Division
has been torched, better still burnt down to ashes by separatists forces under
the leadership command of “General Okoro of Pinyin village. That was on
Saturday the 13th of November 2021 breaking Sunday 14th
around the wee hours.
The
said gang in what they termed revenging the death of Tataw Brandine and some of
their fallen troops in Santa, mounted a coup and distroyed a police Hilux
around Matazem killing eight Policemen on board. It is from this crime scene
that they left for Baligham village where they rain havoc, burning down the
palace, houses around and bikes. Doing away with huge sums of monies extorted
from local indigenes, wounding many a people.
As
we report, the palace of Fon Samki Elvis II who doubles as the Lord Mayor of
Santa Council is completely in ruins with a bitter population ready to
retaliate. This it must be noted is a dirty slap on the faces of Bali people
and an abuse to North West Tradition and culture. To burn a palace, it is
unheard of and sacrilegious.
The
gang meant business since the Fon and villagers have never complied with the restoration
movement since it’s inception. Santa bleeds presently while other parts of the
North West Region is experiencing cereal killings and sporadic fire exchanges.
Lately,
death toll has risen amongst civilians, the restoration and Republican forces.
School resumption which was picking up steam, following the present
unpredictable security situation of the Region is likely to close as activists
abroad clamor for it’s closure to protect the lives of children exposed of late
to military bullets. We are relating to
the Buea and Bamenda New road incidents.
The
Anglophone liberation war has turned to a different ball game all together and
if care is not taken the Bali’s will rise against restoration forces who have
gone beyond their limits and are now acting otherwise to the dislike of the
population.
With what has happened, it is likely that the days ahead are not promising to the restoration forces in Santa. The clock is ticking....
