Ndop
town out of the four villages that make up
Ndop Council area which fall under Ngoketunjia Nord constituency has of late witnessed
the erection of street lights in their numbers for the electrification of the said
town to curb insecurity which has been on the rise.
The modern
street lights which is to tap from solar energy and light the town of Ndop is a
package sourced for by the Mayor of Ndop Council Ntoh Daniel from Cameroon’s special
council support fund for mutual assistance (FEICOM) to have the dream come through.
Through FEICOM Ndop Council has for years been able to realize quite a lot of projects to meet Council development goals.
Their
support runs from assistance to pay salaries right down to the grading of farm to
market roads and the equipment of institutions plus humanitarian gestures.
Ndop
town in the month of September has been blessed from the special support funds of
FEICOM to gain street lights this day.
Ndop

theft, burglary and open harassment along major streets at night has dropped.
FEICOM,
it must be noted is a local administrative tool put up by government to support
local development and that is what they have been doing for years not only to Ndop
Council but to all councils in the Republic of Cameroon.
On the
occasion of the erection of the modern pools for electrification and reception,
the Lord Mayor thanked the contractor and on behalf of his people extended a word
of gratitude to FEICOM and to the head of state for always being there when Ndop
Council cry for assistance.
