In Less than Two Months to Senatorial Elections in Cameroon: Chima Ernest Makes Known Intention to Run

This intention, the Mezam I former Youth Section President of the CPDM party  declared in a Press briefing organized at Hilltop Hotel Bamenda on the 15th of January 2023.

To him, the decision to make known his intentions as fast as possible is in response to the Head of states call for Senatorial Elections in March and also due to popular influence.

Weighing himself apt and ripe for the task, the Bamenda based CPDM political strategist, thinks it is time for some of them who have toiled day and night to kick SDF out of Bamenda to pick the crown and serve their people judiciously.

According to him, there is no time to waste after Biya’s pronouncements, because all other political parties are already strategizing and there is absolute need for those who are ready to make their intentions known to ease work for party officials in decision making or taking.

Most especially at a time when some, if not all facing out of the Senate have outlived their value and no longer win the confidence and admirations of the people.

Chima Ernest, for the interest of our readers, is a seasoned CPDM political leader and activist who doubles as a successful business man and contractor. Adding to that, he is owner of Tchima enterprise which has of late braved all odds to keep Bamenda clean after Hysacam abandoned the city to garbage.

Going by his words, contestants for this year’s Senate elections should be popular choice and not hand picked individuals who have no bearings back at home and are permanently resident out of the Region.

True to the step taken, which is supposed to be timely, it eases the task and at the same time gives work to the central committee of the CPDM political party.

The decision, as we decipher, is also to send an advance alarm warning or alert to adventurers in the party that it is time for ripe full owners to take their right place in the party and that gold diggers should stay clear.
