Crying Fowl to Character Assassination: Who Wants Mayor Mbah Joachim of Babessi’s Head?

The Mayor of Babessi Council Metoh Mbah Joachim lately has come under a series of attacks and personal abuse on his person all orchestrated and masterminded by all those who swore not to let him have peace in office or bent to make work difficult for him as a Mayor under the crisis.

The recent plot after a series of Cooked up court charges and allegations in and around the Subdivisions and Ngoketunjia Division as a whole is the sanction vote which is coming from no where but from the very same quarters alleging that a threatened vote of no confidence is in the offing and will be passed soon.

Coming to dig the story, there is no such plan by the councilors in their entirety but for some misguided agents in the Council who have swore with impunity not to let the Mayor’s name rest in the village circles, on the papers and the social media platforms.

What has these persons not said and cooked up about the Mayor for the over three years in office as he goes about council management under challenging circumstances. One is that he has put up a duplex at Upstation, he has send away a good number of council staffs, that he is owing workers, how he is accumulating debts, he has transferred the council office to Bamenda, how he has been unable to pay any debts and that he is at no percent realization. Which from our findings are, or were all lies cooked up to excite the population and send the police after the Mayor.

A man of a high noble reputation and dignity, a certified engineer who has served this nation at all levels, retiring as a Regional Delegate to serve his people as Mayor and today a gang of misguided fellows and individuals who want to force Metoh Mbah into dirty deals have taken upon themselves with all impunity to assassinate his character.

God on the Mayor’s side, with all the plots, the Mayor is stead fast in peril and is at 80% realization, despite the security challenges.

Babessi Council from our common findings and understanding is waxing strong with a vibrant Mayor who will be launching the farming season in his Municipality on Thursday the 23^rd of March 2023 and his only problem is that he is strict, sincere and devoted to his work and office.

That is why all the traps set up for him by rumor mongers and the banana pealings thrown, he is still up, sound and doing.
