“Waste is Wealth Part L” on board our Climate Wagon this Week as part of activities to commemorate World Habitat Day  in Bamenda on the 5^th of October 2026 at the MINEPAT Conference hall, officials of Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) and Land Media Actors of Media Actors for Technological Development (MEDACT), shall launch and present a robust Self Help Communal program to combat flood in Bamenda through a vast  Media campaign and Canalization initiative”, dub Canalization of run off for Portable Water use.

That is directing rain, storm water, surface run off for household use and community development through a vast land use and reclamation sensitization campaign.

In all the project initiative is a drainage proposal to control floods and sustainably manage run offs in Bamenda through Canalization for Portable water.

On that same occasion CCJN shall be presenting the bold imprints of her five years Climate strategic communication development action program for Cameroon.

This year’s world habitat day is celebrated under the theme “Equitable habitat for all, through Communication for Development”.

Ahead of and in commemoration of 41^st World Habitat day in Cameroon, under the theme “Adequate Housing for all through Communication for Education”, land Media Actors and Nature based solution Reporters of Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) will launch in grand style a broad spectrum awareness and education Resilience campaign in Bamenda, Cameroon to harmonize global emergency action plan to combat Climate crisis from the Newsroom through the class room onto the community dub CAMEROON CLIMATE EMERGENCY MEDIA ACTION PROGRAM FOR EDUCATION CAMPAIGN (CCEMAP4EC) under the canopy of Climate Demand Action (CDA) for Climate Solution Action (CSA) multi task scale up campaign Program.

The Multi Scale Climate Emergency Media Action Reporting Campaign program, will regroup lead officials of Grass root organizations, Associations, CIGs, NGOs, CSOs, COOP. Media organizations and community Radio Managers to present to them the road map and action plan to sustain community development and nature protection through climate education to enhance habitat for all initiative through Communication for Education.
