“Cameroon to raise XAF350 bln in the security market this year” (Revised financial act)

Instead OF the XAF260 billion prescribed by the 2019 finance law, Cameroon’s public treasury will issue XAF350 billion in public securities. According to Sylvester Moh (photo), director of the directorate of treasury at the ministry of finance, this final volume was decided by the head of state in the revised budget of May 29, 2019. This revised act increases the country’s 2019 budget by XAF361.5 billion.
The official also reveals that the country is preparing to raise at least XAF100 billion during Q3, 2019. For that purpose, it could once again turn to BEAC’s financial market where it raised XAF174 billion with three fungible bond issuances issued within two months.
The public treasury can also raise the funds on the unified Central African stock exchange that will replace the Douala Stock Exchange (Dsx) in July 2019, according to official sources.

Critics
The country has been criticized by the IMF for its propensity to have recourse to non-concessional loans instead of the concessional provided by multilateral investors. Indeed, the volume of public securities prescribed in the revised finance act averages the XAF300 billion- XAF350 billion in that market for the past three years.
The Bretton Woods institution notably fears a new rapid growth of Cameroon’s debt after the 2006 episode that led the country into the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) Initiative for the remission of its foreign debt.
In reply to the IMF’s worries, Cameroon indicates that its debt (35% of GDP) is still sustainable since the volume of its culminated debts is largely below the 70% of GDP set in the convergence criterion within CEMAC.
At the same time, Cameroonian public institutions explain their preference for the security market by its flexibility (unlike the conditions set by international backers for their loans) in terms of disbursement and use of received funds.

Gov’t Step up Relief Distribution Plan to IDPs in NW,SW

FOR THE past three years, North West and South has been witnessing socio political crisis which has grounded the economy and has caused the massive displacement of persons. Faced by the situation an 18 month relief plan was initiated by the head of State President Paul Biya worth 12.7 billion placed under the coordination of MINAT Boss Atanji Paul.

The goal of the humanitarian relief fund is to help and protect internally displaced persons in the two restive regions of Cameroon. It is within this frame work that the MINAT Boss has continuously deployed consignment of relief materials to victims of the crisis.

Kidnapped Arch Bishop of Bda According to Social Media, is Back, Sound, Safe & Strong

The breaking bad news circulating over social media and reaching our newsroom just when we are about to press that took catholic Christians and folks aback is now dispelled as mere speculation that their Arch Bishop was kidnapped.

Contrary to social media speculations, that the Arch Bishop of Bamenda Diocese Fontem Cornelius Esua was kidnapped, he was not. Rather, it was on his way back from pastoral works in Boyo Division precisely in Belo and Esu that he stumbled on and was intercepted by members of the Ambazonian Restoration force Boyo under the leadership command of General RK.
On that unfortunate 25th June 2019 evening, the Bishop on his way back met with and was intercepted by this armed group who offered to give him shelter since it was late and promised to accompany him back the following day to dismantle the road barricades and enable him go through. This is what transpired in the last 24 hour, and as we report new in also hold that the Arch Bishop is back in the Diocesan house, SOUND, safe and strong. For better update we leave you in the hands of the communication unit of Bamenda Diocese. Thank.

Prof Tita on it Again: “When we all Clamor for Amba Republic What Becomes of National Integration we almost Slaughter the Whole of NW,SW for”

Knowing the past, possibly creates a pathway to knowing the present and equally the future
When people fail to see the importance of continuity and hold that predecessors should on leaving go with the policies in place, there is the tendency that successors remain floundering like a plane in a wild storm, that has lost the control of its radar. What I am putting cross here is the cold that is causing a lot of sneezing in the nation and the thought of secession foolishly arises. It is easily said, than done, " we are gone." We are now citizens of the republic of amba. How sweet the sound, but can we remember that deep in our history, Cameroonians opted for national integration and that all the articles were to be respected by all on the entire territory. In a nutshell, we opted for a stronger brotherhood than what was agreed on in Foumban. That is having a one Cameroon, one people and a common destiny - united and indivisible. Cameroonians all accepted that unity is strength. We should all tell our children that songs of joy were heard everywhere as Ahidjo coughed big to present the speech of national integration to the people of Cameroon - Anglophones and francophone. From then, every citizen was free to live any were of choice, practice any trade for a living, marry and divorce unmolested by any other person. That is real national integration represented by the one star on the national flag. Some talk out of the greed of the diaspora that it was a simple marriage and has come the time to put asunder. They are blinded by greed from understanding that since Foumban, plenty of water that stands for a one and indivisible Cameroon, has passed under the bridge. Making a futile struggle to reverse it, is rubbing the efforts of the past into some shit for regrets tomorrow. The souls lost in this futile attempt already, are regrettable and the persisted struggle to make the impossible to be possible, will water our nation with a lot of tears. The policy of the diaspora is to have the flesh, while we remain desperate on our dry rocks, leaking bare bones year in and year out. He who doubts my observation, should look at the diaspora and the supply of deathly weapons for destruction and elimination, then will he/she conclude that the pillars carrying the philosophy of national integration for a one, indivisible and powerful Cameroon, should be fortified better. It is but clear that if Cameroonians banish greed and create a level playground for decentralization, every citizen will continue to enjoy the national integration that has long built strong our unity. What happened with national integration is that out of greed, some at the detriment of others buried it and many could not know that such a rich policy ever existed. I have discussed with so many separatists about this policy and I bet you, they went wagging their tongues and flapping their lips, maintaining that we were never part of LA Republique du Cameroon. My question further is, have we been enjoying national integration or not, even though we do not accept its existence? With national integration policy still in force, the Foumban federation agreement long was buried and forgotten. National integration can now possibly embrace decentralization comfortably than federalism. May federalism rest in peace for the health of our national integration - one people in a one and prosperous nation. Done in Yaoundé 24/6/201

Disappointed with Activists, Creation of Anti Activists Restoration force in the Offing, to Breed Sanity in the Struggle amongst Activists who have Embezzled Funds for AK47 and  MTT Buea Campaign

Creation of anti activist force announced by Disappointed Amba fighters
They have vowed to start eliminating treacherous activists and family members for auctioning the Struggle after causing many of them to die in bushes.
This declaration was made known publicly by the lead head of restoration forces on the 23rd day of June 2019 in an audio that has gone viral on social media.
This was immediately after Tapang Ivo spokes man for the restoration forces came up with another scheme to mobilize resources for the Ambazonian struggle dubbed contender force. To the surprise and the bewilderment of most of the fighters on ground zero who have so far received no dime collected from the 100,000 of thousands dollars collected for the AK47 campaigns to arm restoration forces and nothing received from the million s of dollars collected from my trip to Buea exercise.
The call to them is surprising as they perish an languish in the bush with no, little or no arms while others feed fat out of their sacrifice to restore a nationhood which should have long come if it were not managed by some self centered individuals.
It is unfortunate; the disappointed Amba fighter recounted that, "no account has been rendered yet about the MTTB funds and the AK47 campaign money. In agony and torched by the too much killing, ground forces have signaled their intensions to turn back on those who gave them all the hopes and lured them into a struggle where they are rather using their names to make their money.
In the well over 5 minute audio that has gone viral, the ground zero forces were categorical on the fact that they have lost most of their forces in the operations with little or no arms with monies lying in the pockets of activists abroad. They have on this note sounded signal of their intension to create a force that will now go after activist and family members at home and aboard. According to them it is pay back time since they have suffered a lot in their hands and manipulations while they live abroad in their safe heavens making monies out of a struggle, they are paying the price dearly.
The note of warning, as we report, has send sucking waves down the spines of activist and from what we hear thy are struggling to seat up .
From what we are also gathering, genuine activist are mobilizing to kick out or weed out all the dangerous element in the struggle who have taken up themselves to set confusion in the kingdom in order to cover clear financial reports and evidence. Just as opinion holders are of the opinion that activist who swallowed monies from the struggle should be brought to books in order to breed sanity in the struggle.... affairs suivre....
Just in as we go about other salient reports, human right watch report has just come in with another controversial report as usual, adding to the crisis that has gone rift between Dr Sako and Ayuke Tabe and Co. All these unfolding happening all in a month, decisive June, it should be noted are all entangled in the revolution and forms part of its ups and downs. The future is pregnant, lets keep our fingers crossed…..
