Crying Fowl: Cameroon Minister of Water and Energy Pushing Back Multi-Billion Water Funds from EXIMBank India Meant for 20 Semi Urban Towns

-How Minister of Water and Energy with Gang Continue to Wave Orders from the Presidency since 2018 till Date

-WPIL Limited almost Packing out after Eight Months in Cameroon without concluding  jobbing Orders to Execute Contracts while Cholera Continue Ravaging South West and other Parts of Cameroon

Going by a series of correspondences from the Presidency since 2018 till date on the high instructions of the Head of State President of the Republic Paul Biya, the Minister of Water and Energy Gaston Eloundou Esomba have been ordered on several occasions to engage the contract with EXIMBank and make sure the funding meant for water does not go back.

But it will beat your imagination and surprise that as we report, the said Limited company (WPIL) has been in Cameroon for the execution of the Project with Nkah Engineering Group for the past eight months and have been unable to conclude the jobbing arrangements with the Minister and are almost Packing out.

All because of negligence, too much bottle neck in the Ministry in question and bad fate of the Minister as Cameroonians die in their tones because of lack of portable water even at the mercy of the beg and call of big foreign banks which are ready to harness such resources with their own funds for the welfare of the people.

It is unfortunate and how can one even come to explain that a Minister disrespects four different correspondences from the Presidency on high instructions of the head of state to contract a deal with a foreign bank for water resources to be harnessed for 20 Semi Urban Towns in Cameroon.

There is no sufficient or adequate reason to give other than negligence, bad fate or better still the terms (of the Minister) which does not agree with the foreign bodies.

Certainly, kick back and issues on percentage should be the bottom line for why the Minister and gang are dragging their legs to do as instructed by the President even through the Prime Minister in 2019 and recently this March 25th 2022.

Such a behavior breeds great room for suspicion and questioning about the morals of a Minister who claims to have the people’s fate at hand and claims to be loyal to the head of state.

Just this action of the Minister in question proves that he is one of the enemies in the house who is doing everything humanly possible to discredit Biya’s 2035 emergence goals and regime.

Toiling around with the fate of over 25 million Cameroonians living at the mercy of cholera for selfish and egoistic interest speaks volumes about the type of Ministers Cameroon has.

Even when, a son of the soil source for the funds and a foreign bank willfully offer to pomp billions with out interest and a Minister is there complicating even on high instructions, then the Civil society, the benefitting towns, leaders of political parties, Religious leaders should rise and speak out on the matter for Minister Eloundou to be called to order.

Editorial: "Time for Great Reckoning for Eto'o Fils after Picking Qatar Tickets"

“Finally Eto’o Qualified Cameroon for Qatar World cup” Political Witch Hunting Surgeons.

Samuel Eto’o Fils who doubles as Cameroon football Federation's President (FECAFOOT) has forcefully grabbed the tickets for Cameroon to compete with other teams in the world cup classification in Qatar to the chagrin of prophets of doom.

Who knew there was no head way, and have  since last 25th March defeat at Japoma against Algeria national teams not ceased raining all type of abuses on the ace football international icon and squad.

At least for once nobody will dispute the fact that God spared Eto’o and Song of another horrible scandal or better still war with the over vexed population after last defeat.

The probability to win in Algeria was so low that even a goal at first half of the encounter took spectators aback and spoiled the prayers of witch hunters who were already waiting to start firing criticism left and right. Why song was not the best option and how Concecao was absolutely a necessary option.

The evil crowded minds picked their shocks as the indomitable lions beyond all reasonable doubts proved their worth with limping hopes. Sparing it’s leadership from all the disgrace and scandal.

Yet, there is still more loading and cooking up for Eto’o and gang as everything about Eto’o Fils leadership role and call it vaulting ambitions are been seriously put to question or monitoring.

The latest came at the foot hills of the last football victory where a French Journalist questioned Eto’o Fil’s presence in the pitch during last minutes rehearsals for the match against Algeria (usurpation of Song's powers as a coach) . While Mimi Mefor in her media outlets fired a bomb that is already taking turns in new circles and may end up taking Eto’o's head, “ that he is already eyeing Etoudi”.

“Etoudi” all Cameroonians know. Do everything but turn your eyes away from the Unity Palace for many in the likes of (Marafa Hamidou Yaya, Ferdinand Ngo Ngo) are languishing in the Yaounde kondengui maximum security prisons because they stretched their eyes beyond their limits.

Dragging Eto’o into that pit of hell or mess means the Media in Cameroon is already auctioning Eto’o’s head to wolves to cut.

More onto that and just the news that has gone viral will place Eto’o under surveillance and the witch hunting will take another dimension and connotation.

Eto’o's increasing popularity should surprisingly not be disturbing to the public who yearn for a change, but shall most absolutely be provoking to the regime in place. Who will do everything humanly possible to trim his wings.

Before he takes the regime aback like George weah did in Liberia. Time for great Reckoning is now for Eto’o Fils and Click.......

Under this framework, IFAD will provide CFA21.3 billion to boost aquaculture in 10 Cameroonian regions. The Ministry of Livestock reported that the program could make it possible to reach 100,000 tons of production annually in the coming years. In 2018, fish imports swallowed up more than CFA154 billion. Cameroon Business News Report.

Cholera Hit Crisis Hit Regions of Anglophone Cameroon, Part of S.W and Partially N.W

Dr Eko Eko Filbert South West Regional Delegate of Health

-Over 3000 Persons infected in Four Days, 40 Deaths Recorded so far

-The Signs are, rumbling, running stomach, serious vomiting and coughing

Health reports for the past three days coming from Fako Division in the South West and some sensitive information leaking out of some renown boarding schools in the North West Region holds that cholera, is gradually consuming the population in the areas in question and the multiplying effects are enormous.

As we report, hospitals in Buea, Limbe, Idenau and Tiko are over crowded and flooded with the increasing number of patients coming in for proper medical attention after diagnosis.

In the North West news or information leakage from some renown boarding schools on group chats, affirms that, after last Saturday’s open visits,  a good number of children have developed stomach infections and have been vomiting from contaminated food and beverages brought by parents. Likely signs of cholera infection.

The South West Region’s Regional Delegate Dr. Eko Eko Filbert's reports as of yesterday the 23rd of March 2022 holds that the number is increasing exponentially and if proper care is not taken to make quick redress, situation may be uncontrollable in the coming days.

Movements in and out of the already infested zones are strictly under control as infected cases move from 2000 to 3000.

The cause is water crisis and the disease in question is water born. The contamination comes from consuming poorly treated water from unhygienic water sources. Which is not even there because weather problems and the drying down of major water catchment areas since the rains have over delayed in coming and the dry season is growing increasingly harsh. All side effects of climate change.

The government of Cameroon, held captive by the situation are mobilizing all efforts for tones of pure refined water to be regularly supplied in the identified areas in question and for fast containing emergency actions to be instituted around the areas.

What is clear for now is that contamination is constant and a mobile medical brigade must be sent out as fast as possible for quick and early sensitization or the days ahead may be seriously red all over Cameroon as there is already information of cross Regional transmission as fast vaccination exercises are also going on.

Editorial; "Red Zone” How “Red” is Anglophone Cameroon, Hit by the Liberation War? As People take Advantage

Has the Liberation War in Anglophone Cameroon Truly reached the Red Zone ebb? Is the one Billion Dollars question. If it is the case is the situation Truly Red following war analysis? Danger looms.

“Red” is most often regarded as danger and “zone” most often a time may be in other words regarded as Line. Conclusively, Red Zone can as well be Danger line and nobody crosses the danger line because it is known as the limit. The limit between death and life in a war given situation.

That is the terminology which has suddenly become the national anthem of war mongers, war lords and propagandists. To make advance their points or flesh a given situation when they are discussing the Anglophone crisis in situations where they want to magnify the story, woo or attract sympathy.

Are we really at the cross road of the crisis? Has it reached the danger line? Can our situation be likened to the scenario in Ukraine as Russia bombard every living soul? Many are souls which have perished in the crisis and to an extent war, hundreds of persons have been displaced, houses burnt, schools burnt and a good number closed even churches and hospitals. The military killed in their numbers just as civilian and separatists forces, the system made ungovernable, economy stagnated worst of it insecurity situation magnified.

But we, I mean the situation in Anglophone Cameroon has not reached a full scale war most especially as the situation does not look clearly apparent as a war.  Given that a nation does not declare war on it’s people? And the situation is such that the state is struggling to dismantle a network or a gang that cannot easily be identified, living and hiding in the midst of people. Who only hit and run or kidnap to make money or extort money from it’s  own very citizens they are out to protect.

The crisis in the  North West and the South West Regions of Cameroon are extraordinary and exceptionally unclassified under war normal given circumstances, but many have taken advantage of the situation to make huge capital gains.

It is now very common placed to hear that the situation is precarious or deepening by any individual in any given situation to drive home his hidden agenda.

Many are teachers for example who have taken advantage of the crisis not to be effectively at work. Many are people who hardly go home or to the village for pretext that they will be kidnapped. Many are government officials and elected officials who have taken advantage of the situation to be doing funny things and toiling around with the people’s fate and income, not to talk of those who have been using the crisis to settle scores.

The situation at time is described by those who pray well of the situation to be under control. Others, who for one reason or the other may not want it to end, will rather magnify every given situation to suit their interests.

This is where the Anglophone liberation war is and is growing in complexity every day given the complex circumstance and wayward attitude of the immediate actors involved and the victims caught in the cross fire. The stage is crowded with Bite and Blow politicians with pot bellies ready to swallow all at the mercy of the dying masses”.

At the end of the day, it is a “chopping arrangement” for some, while people die like flies and fools seat waiting for better days ahead from a gang of dishonest revolutionists and unreliable politicians.

Hear crooks “WE ARE IN A RED ZONE”, of what good or help is it to you? If it is not only out to fan the situation and arouse a situation or create an unnecessary sensation. God will punish us and whosoever is feeding fat out of the situation while souls keep perishing. Those taking advantage of the situation on “Ground Zero” will pay in their own coins. God of justice and vengeance is watching.

Ahead of World Forestry Day (21st March); NGOs Calls for Cancellation of Agreements Authorizing Mass Exploitation of Forest Reserves in Cameroon

-Cancellation of such agreements will sustain Biodiversity, conserve forests Reserves and all it’s embodiment plus the Beneficial Impacts on Weather and Climate.

A few days to the celebration of the International Day of Forests (March 21), Greenpeace Africa and its partners (GDA and SAILD) are calling for agreements concerning the exploitation of 445,144 hectares of forests in Cameroon. Specifically, they are calling for the cancelation of the concessions of the Nkam forest (11,396 ha) in the Littoral and  Donga-Mantung (45,794 ha) in the Northwest. They also request the cancelation of the current call for tenders for forest concessions in the East and Center (387,954 ha).

"The concession of those forests pose many threats to the biodiversity and community that live in and depend on them," explains Ranece Jovial Ndjeudja, Forest Campaign Manager for Greenpeace Africa. For instance, he illustrates, in early March 2022, a dozen of residents of Bonamangolo, Bindjen 1, Ndokati, Heroun, Boumkwa, Bekong, Timte, Bolam, Bewang, and Ndoktamba were arrested and detained for protesting the allocation of the UFA 07-003b concession that was granted in December 2021.

According to the government, those concessions are granted to boost logging activities in the country and contribute to the development of the regions hosting the forests conceded, in the case of the recent tender launched. Some of the concessions are also aimed at making up for the losses recorded by forest operators in the South-West and North-West, due to the security situation in those regions in recent years.

However, for Greenpeace's sustainable development advocacy coordinator Aristide Chacgom, it is "reckless" to continue exploiting the forest in the name of development when those activities benefit only a minority. Instead of improving the living conditions of neighboring communities whose survival depends on the forests, it is the contrary, he indicates.  Curled, Cameroon Business News.
