Bambili credit Union received on Saturday the 5^th of August 2023 a dual recognition of excellence for excellent customers service, good and transparent management union’s accounts.

This was in Yaounde on the occasion of the voice seventh anniversary, at Polyva Hotel celebrated under the theme (7 Seven) solid strides.

The Voice born out of Menchum Voice to go national has covered quite a long distance in the Cameroonian media landscape. The media organ is known reputed for her unwavering and unbiased report for the last seven which calls celebration.

Reasons in addition why, the news agency as a family resolved to fete with it’s audience and the affected or the underprivileged they have long taken commitment to defend.

True to their editorial policy, the voice has stood the test of time and has challengingly and unwaveringly delivered news to her audiences just the way it is for the edification of Cameroon.

Coming back to the ceremony and award proper, the seventh anniversary was placed under the distinguished patronage of the Minister of communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi and chaired by learned Barrister Akere Muna who double as “The Voice MAN of the Year” who flew in from Dakar, Senegal to grace and give impetus to the occasion.

Speakers took rounds, starting with the co founder of the voice Joe nsah Randy, who stated, “it’s has been a long and a thorny path, Ngah Christian (CENPA) Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association President who doubles as Publisher of the Guardian Post daily, “Saluted the voice efforts” and the emblematic Batonnier cum international legal rights actor and transparency fighter, award winning Barrister Akere Muna hailed the voice for their good works, their outstanding media services and their art of Reporting to shape humanity which is what he has stood for and will always stand for.

“Things need to stop being the same, the routine must not remain the rule” which is what the voice has for years been working hard to obstruct through her respective news outings.

Exceptionally Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle the guest speaker, the Director of AMI, the Director of Bamenda Regional hospital, Senator Regina Mundo, Hon Agho Oliver MP for Tubah Bafut, the Director of the Regional college of Agriculture Bambili RCA Billa vitalis, Barrister Ndangoh, the Director of communication for customs, FEDEV, amongst others were honored and recognized for their great works in their communities or work places and sacrifice towards nation building and development.

 

 

 

New in Donga Mantung: Misaje United Football Club (MUFC) on it’s Heels, with Mission to Enhance Peace, Sustainable Development and love through Sports.

This was made known on Saturday the 5^th of August 2023 in Yaounde at Obili in a press briefing by the club’s illustrious Board President Docta Eric Ngu a veterinarian and a business social entrepreneur par excellence.

Who thought it wise to throw light on current developments going on within the club as it make debut in Cameroon football.

According to him, Misaje Sub-Division and Donga Mantung Division as a whole has been absent in the football scene and mindful of the fact that sports is a great unifying factor there was utmost and absolute need or reasons why a football club had to be created.

There are a series of championships, tournaments and sports festival that has taken place in the Division, but players have never been given the opportunity to go Regional or National to showcase their talents.

The creation or the advent of Misaje United Football Club, gives opportunity for sons and daughters from the Wimbum community and the Mbum land to showcase their talents in the world of sports at national and international levels.

Changing times goes with mental health and physical development for the enhancement of collective social welfare.

Which is why Misaje United Football Club was born to actively and physically be present or participate in national tournaments.

Adding that it is time for the Division not to only talk politics and development but embark on mental health and physical development which will animate the whole Division.

Docta, the team president on the occasion also ceased the occasion to call on sons and daughters of the Division at home and abroad to join hands to collectively push the team up.

He announced and opened calls for shares to run and manage the team banking on transparent management of Finances and accountability.

While thanking the Honorable Minister of Mines Prof. Fuh Calistus Gentry for all the tournaments sponsored in Misaje and how he has been very instrumental in the creation and nurturing of Misaje United Football right up to where it is.

Nursing prospects in the briefing, the Board President sounding very optimistic, sees Misaje football club climbing at the speed of light and why not time for board members to start thinking of coming up with a sports academy.

CENPA Sharpens English Language Publishers Skills ✓Call on government to Create Special Funds for Publishers or a Common Relief Fund for the Media

✓Boost Morals of English Language Newspaper Publishers in the Phase of Social Media threats

This was in a two days serious brainstorming workshop organized in Ebolowa on the 3^rd and 4^th of August 2020 at Bengo Hotel by Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association (CENPA) which gathered Publishers of the said Association nation wide to check ways and map out new footpaths in the media landscape in the phase of increasing social media threats and clandestine Journalism.

Operating from and in a crisis deepening war situations or zone has been so challenging to Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers amidst cross fire, unstable market situation and social media threats plus clandestine Journalism practices.

Which is what motivated the President General of the said Association who doubles as the Executive Director of the Guardians Post daily Newspaper Ngah Christian to Assemble fellow colleagues all over the nation to strategize, map out new foot path as they sharpen skills to face challenging days ahead.

In the working session Newspaper Publishers chart ways out of the mix up social media infiltrators  have so far orchestrated to destabilize  print media market.

Placed under the theme, “rescuing the dying Anglophone print Media”, the two days power point workshop centered on media deontology, media rights, ethic and security facilitated by Peter Ngu Taryong, Amindeh Blaise, Giyo Ndzi and Ngah Christian with special focus on Leadership in Newsroom, Digital and Physical security for Newspaper Publishers, Adaptation to digital transformation by Newspaper Publishers, Best Practices in Newspaper management and sustainability presided over by the representative of the Minister of communication, Mrs Margarite Solange Beko’o Regional Delegate of communication for the South.

Speaking at, while opening the skills building workshop with over 40 English Language Newspaper Publishers answering present, Mrs Margerite thanked the President General of CENPA for such an initiative that it is a stitch in time which will go a long way to enhance and sustain print media journalism in Cameroon.

CENPA President General Ngah Christian on his part, delivery his opening notes welcomed the representative of the Minister of communication Rene Emmanuel Said, thanked colleagues for massive attendance and the resilience they have since put up in the phase of the Anglophone crisis that has since affected activities. He used the forum to encourage colleagues while calling on the Minister to create a special fund or better still a common relief funds for Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers to mediate working situations, challenging market times and social media threats in order to protect print media heritage and enable publishers work at ease.

CENPA, Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association, dates almost eight years and has done a lot in the direction of media right protection, social Humanitarian services and contributed a lot in enhancing good governance in Cameroon.

Dr Richard Munang in honor of his year long career in the crusade against climate change was on Monday the 24^th of July 2023 in the UK recognized as a Nottingham Alumni an alma matter.

A prestigious title which says all about an accomplished educationist who for years exceptionally took off time to embark and venture on a social change career and climate awareness campaigns.

Dr Richard is visibly seen on all mediums and platforms fronting for behavioral change and climate solution actions to arrest climate crisis.

Which is why a college and a battery of lecturers and Professors at Nottingham University saw in him the qualities of a steadfast, focused and a dedicated Social actors committed in bringing social change in the world through his innovative and inspirational ideas.

Not to over belabor the point, saying it with all emphasis and emphatically as a climate expert and land media actor, Dr Richard Munang Cameroon Born is an inspiration to the world.

The Exceptionality in the “Man” Dr Richard Munang;

Dr. Richard Munang is the Deputy Regional Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Africa Office. Before this appointment, Richard was the Climate Change Coordinator of the same office, where he guided the implementation of UNEP’s climate-resilient development strategy at national and regional levels. He has extensive programming and policy implementation experience, serving as Regional Coordinator for Africa, Climate Change Sub Programme. Richard’s first assignment at UNEP was as a Project Manager with its Ecosystems Division in 2009. He managed the first UNEP Adaptation Project called Climate Change Adaptation and Development Programme (CCDare), implemented jointly with UNDP. He later worked on EBA for mountains, EBA for Food security, EBA for Coastal ecosystems, low emissions development and Climate action projects.

When he joined the Africa office, he pioneered the first UNEP Africa Adaptation Gap report series, which helped galvanize a coherent continental strategic climate policy position resulting in the elevation of adaptation to be at par with mitigation, an AMCEN priority. He spearheaded the conceptualization and creation of the Ecosystem-Based Adaptation for Food Security Assembly (EBAFOSA), a continental policy framework and implementation platform for adaptation and food security in Africa. He has enhanced youth skills retooling to leverage their passion for turning climate change challenges into climate opportunities.

Before joining the United Nations, Richard worked as a Research Fellow at Trinity College, University of Dublin, and a Lecturer at Nottingham University. He has participated in various research projects and has published over 500 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and magazines. He is the author of the book– Making Africa work through the Power of Innovative Volunteerism.

He is the 2016 winner of UNEP’s Baobab staff awards for Programme Innovation for enhancing efficiency and efficacy, with UNEP work on EBA policy integration being up-scaled nationally and regionally.

Richard is a Cameroonian Citizen who holds a PhD in Environmental Change and Policy from the University of Nottingham and completed the first pioneering Executive Certificate in ‘Climate Change and Energy: Policy Making for the Long Term at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.

Time for a New World Order with Women Holding all top Jobs for Women Enhancement and Empowerment

The growing need for women to take over or control of leading positions in decision making all over the world or top Jobs is fast becoming a necessity and a priority.

Prove of, is their transparent and accountable management style.

Women by their nature are good managers of homes and institutions. That, the true test of knowledge and time has proven.

Which is why in the days ahead on August 17^th, 2023 at the Climate village Upstation under the Canopy of our climate demand Action (CDA) campaign, we shall be launching another grass root woman advocacy program for women empowerment dubbed Women Beyond climate  Limit Action campaign  (WOBECLAC) with mission to empower women with leadership skills and abilities to lead climate change actions and movements.

According to the program best leadership skills and management practice to combat climate crisis can best be coordinated when a woman is at the head, doing the mobilization, execution and control of Finances.

Home Care and climate enhancement measures are best enforced by women.

Which is why Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) thought it wise to coming up with a strong network of grass root women leading in action to combat climate change (WOBECLAC).
