CCJN Partners With NW MINJEC, ICFESW to Empower Youths on Civic Right, Rescue Mission, Career Building, Climate Study and Nature Conservation at Social Reintegration Camp Bamenda.

 





✓Drills over 50 youths carefully selected from all strata of life including the indigenous community.

The all inclusive, intensive Regional reintegration youth camp for four days, which ran from the 9th to the 12th of August 2026 and played host at the Bamenda ultra modern REAMORCE Center empowered selected participants with Civic rights, moral rights, rescue skills, defense tactics, innovation skills, great leadership abilities on community development, Nation Building, peace Building, the fight against Climate change and local governance.

The Regional reintegration youth camp had as general objectives this summer holiday to educate, empower and groom exemplary youth leaders in the crisis hit Region of Anglophone Cameroon who will in return replicate knowledge in their respective communities.

The all inclusive training youth camp or gathering for social reintegration, Civic right Empowerment and youth moralization convened by MINJEC partnered with (ICFESW) Islamic Charity Foundation for Education and Social Welfare,  (CCJN) Cameroon Climate Journalism Network and the Bamenda Army rescue unit.

The youth led impregnation  program initiative for North West youth social reintegration and moralization was placed under the theme “Youth, Peace and national reconstruction, targeting youths aged 15-35 years out of school and greatly at risk in the crisis hit Region of Anglophone Cameroon.

Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) on the occasion dished out practical knowledge, skills and abilities on how to go about simple coordinated actions, activities and efforts to combatting climate change in their respective communities.

The climate training restitution program on the occasion articulated around general waste management, tree planting, renewable energy, Pollution, Afforestation, catchment protection, biodiversity conservation, livestock breeding, wild life conservation, agriculture, natural resource management, Ecotourism and Climate Education for Climate solution action (CSA) under (CDA) Climate Demand Action Campaign of (CCJN).

Also as part of activities to beef up the train trainers program, youth distinguished participants were given room to plant fruit trees and water friendly trees around the North West REAMORCE Center Bamenda.

This join venture initiative for the general youth Empowerment and social reintegration it must be noted, is in partial  realization of (ICFESW 2026-2030) Islamic Charity Foundation for Education and Social Welfare agenda dubbed “Integrated program for education, socio economic integration and social welfare for children Youths, women and social vulnerable Families”.
