Ahead of IDOP Day 2016: RECEWAPEC 2016 ADA Campaign Team Intensify Calls on Gov’t to Strengthen Course on the Fight against Ageism

These are support moves that will sustain the course for the fight against ageism in Cameroon forever, joining the voice of other callers around the world with the support of Help Age International.

The Regional Centre for the Welfare of Ageing Persons in Cameroon as part of its activities designed for advocacy and lobby in the campaign against ageism this year 2016, marking the commemoration of World IDOP Day, has in a series of meetings, two with the Regional Delegation of Social Affairs, another with partners and Satellite network groups of the centers resolved to address/write and carry a letter with a ten Man delegation to the Prime Minister through the Ministry of Social affairs for a seat down tete-a-tete by the 10th of October 2016 five days after the IDOP Day celebration in Cameroon.
To her, and from the content of the letter, the Delegation shall be advancing reasons why government should attend this year’s UN Convention on the 12 to the 15 of December for the Open Working Group session. How Cameroon’s absence in past meetings has created a great vacuum as issues on Ageing are not best addressed at the level of international platform. While calling on government to contribute more than ever before on ageing issues which is receiving no divided interest around the world, Since it is even increasingly noted that youths are dying faster and living behind the old.
Mindful of the moving trend of the global economy that gives a place for the old in our society, it is incumbent for government to mobilize resources physical, material, financial and spiritual to strengthen the course against ageism which is not creating a suitable environment for the old in our economy.
The letter to government which this reporter laid on read does

Subject: An Appeal Letter Wooing Cameroon Government to Attend 2016 OWEGA UN Convention on the 12 -15 December
Sir, His Excellency
Accept best regards and well wishes from the Regional Centre for the Welfare of Ageing Persons in Cameroon (RECEWAPEC), by extension her Cameroon 2016 Age Demand Action (ADA) Campaign Team wooing you to join other world countries in the upcoming UN Convention for the elderly.
We the Centre/CSO RECEWAPEC; bearing consideration of the fact that there is absolute need for the highlight of the prevalence of “ageism”  across the world and the urgent need for a formidable force to jointly clamor for elderly rights,
-Considering the fact that Cameroon has never been part of the Open Working Group to the UN Convention to contribute her own quota or Contributions to world action for elderly rights,
-Conscious of the fact that the old are open to stigmas of all form and need legal standing orders for them to be fought collectively,
-Mindful of the fact that government has to be better informed on laws applied to the abuse of elderly rights
-Knowing very well that the supreme dispensation of this era requires all governments to be part of world conventions governing the actions of Old people,
Invite our beloved government through the Ministry of Social affairs to see need and reason to be part of the up coming UN Convention of elderly rights to be part of the framework, for the protection and the promotion of elderly rights, prohibit discrimination amongst the old, while building a strong implementation, monitoring and accountability system in that world influencing Union.
It is on the basis of the above premise that we sir, his Excellency before your high office come appealing for your total support and commitment or engagement to be part of this grand rendezvous that will help better issues around the world for the interest of all old people “even you” when you will come to that stage in LIFE.
As we look forward hearing from you, we remain humbly your solicitors
Regional Center for the Welfare of Ageing Persons in Cameroon
C/O 2016 Cameroon ADA Campaign Team

Against the backdrop of the above consideration the Regional Centre for the Welfare of Ageing persons in Cameroon more than ever before, has decided to unite all the man force on Cameroon’s soil to see that a befitting place or environment is created for the old in Cameroon.
Speaking to the Press, the CEO who doubles as the founder of RECEWAPEC Prince Ngochia Bengha Martin ahead of the great encounter with the Prime Minister Head of Government and 2016 IDOP Day celebration said “we are dedicated servants, committed in the course for the creating of a better living and suitable environment for the old in Cameroon. It is our social responsibility each to help the old out of the mess she is subjected to called old age abuses. We started the fight and will succeed by the Grace of God, God Bless the old in Cameroon”.
This year’s 2016 world IDOP Day is celebrated under the theme “take a stand against ageism” which in clear terms according to WHO means “stereotyping and discrimination against individuals or groups on the basis of their age, ageism can take many forms including prejudicial attitudes, discriminatory practices, or institutional policies and practices that perpetrate stereotype beliefs”.

Pending Doom for the Biya Regime: Mighty Storm of Change from Gabon Evades Cameroon *As Election Unrest Cause Many Fleeing into Cameroon

*Cameroon Caught in the Web and at the Middle of the Road
*As, France, UN, US, Joins the Course of  Pace Setting for the New World Order through Change of Old Systems & Gullible Regimes

There is one thing in world’s political history today which is very much certain and need not be questioned nor doubted, “the blowing wind of change rocking the world”. Change most absolute by the growing strength of the blowing wind of change coming in from the UN, US, Europe (most especially France with regard the case of Gabon and Cameroon), the Arab World, Asia and Africa just as in the 50s and 60s which are sure signs of the predicted “End Time we all know”.
That is why the world is consumed by war, terror, chaos, civil right march, anti-government campaigns and coup d’etats. The “New world order” evolving scientifically and globally into a planetary village with a common market square, has also moved to the reversal of world order which at one time entertained the company of dictators, absolute monarch, a system that could not be questioned, a ruled order that was instituted by a people subjecting others to all type of odds, a situation where women had no voice, a period where there were no liberal rights to one that give room to question, assessment, accountability and transparency.
The early 50s and 60s crushed this status quo with revolutions that consumed and marked the world but with no meaningful redress as independence was granted and the force of creeping democracy surfaced. Introducing a new set of tyrants and dictators in the face of mankind who in less than 40 years of leadership rule wanted all for them selves and remained conquerors over all principalities.
Time passing and change had to enlighten or open the minds of myopic citizens who gradually smelled the wind of change blowing over Europe into Africa again to seek for their rights. Then emerge freedom fighters of this generation copying from Luther king, Karamchan Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu etc.
Today in the 21st century we are living the reality of a supreme dispensation by natural ordinance that is gradually kicking out voluntarily or involuntarily those who held power tight. The case of Ali Bongo and the new President of Gabon Jean Ping elected president last 27th August 2016 strongly highlight the fact that it is time out for all dictators in Africa, just as the Libyan strong Man Ghadaffi went, Sadam Hussien, Desire Kabila, Lumumba, Mumbutu, Laurent Bagbou, Maoew Kibaki etc went.
The UN, US and France’s situation, which is presently canvassing for a woman to take over leadership rule over the United Nations organization, the US White house for Hilary Clinton and the former President Nicolas Sarkozy with his terrorist inclined mentality threatening to regain France magistracy are bad signals to all world leaders who are adamant to the “new generation wind of change” blowing all over the world which is also seeing effect in churches through their wild multiplicity around nations.
The case of Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump has already proven that Trump is no march to Hilary the Democratic candidate who will certainly pick up victory in the US November polls to come up as another historic Presidential figure in the world just like Barack Obama when he came to power as the first ever black African American President. Hilary will also be coming in as the first Female history making Democrat taking over from a historic Democrat who out of “yes we can” entrusted to a woman who upholds strongly the values of togetherness to beef up America’s strength unlike Trump who thought of making an already Great Nation like America great again by antagonizing Muslims, straining relations among Americans and other nations.

The Cameroon Regime a neighbor to Gabon leaving the same existing reality that has been toppled by the join tasked forces put up by the opposition headed by Jean Ping now her new president is sleeping with all eyes open. Not only family or matrimonial issues are affecting the state but the rotten system with ailing corrupt individuals are having sleepless nights as the man in power battle with natural and spiritual powers to maintain his grip while playing the tortoise in cajoling Cameroonians who are growing enlightened daily.
One thing is certain the days of the regime in place is numbered if Sarkozy bounds back as French President considering his growing and increasing popularity. His coming back will certainly stage a coup, cause the immediate release of Marafa Hamidou Yaya who had long been his favorite choice for the Presidency of Cameroon even before Francois Hollande took over from him.
The future is bleak, the way forward glaring and uncertainty looms, God knows best and how, what we are left with is to wait and see as the hand writings are clear on the political landscape. One thing we must also note with certainty is that the ways of man are not the ways of God but what ever is jointly decided in the assembly of men, it is sanctioned and injunction in heaven to come to pass.

Another Uproar Eminent in the North West Region: Tension Mounts in Tudig Against Administrative Excesses

*Villagers to Demonstrate if Government Does not React Very Fast
* While Calling on International Human Rights Bodies to Come to their Aid
*High Hand of North West Highest Land Grabber Suspected

Just at the Point in time that the durst of the Menchum Military/the people’s clash is about settling, that of ESU land crisis VS Baba Danpullo moving on to court premises, the Bangolan Chieftaincy crisis taking fresh impetus in the North West in a more magnified manner after the people’s Fon was Poisoned to death,  the people of Tudig in Mbengwi Sub-Division have declared vehement intensions to go on rampage if government and particularly his Excellency President Paul Biya does not sack the DO for Mbengwi central  in the person of Aminkeng Charles Formin wandering why an Administrator,  who is the representative of the Head of state in a Sub-Division should take side in a palaver that concerns poor widowed village farmers VS some few herdsmen in a community farm at Tudig. Asking them to vacate the premise for the interest of the few cattle grazers up the hill just at the time when there is increasing needs for the values of second generation agriculture to be promoted in the country and at the country’s peak period where its illustrious Head of State is just from asking Cameroonian in general and the Android generation in particular to go to the farm.
To these poor widowed villagers and their Fon, the excessive acts of the Administration caring less of their welfare is just out to worsen their living situation and would not take it lying down and are nursing at the same time, while hatching plans after writing to the Head of State President Paul Biya through the Governor of the North West Region Adolph Lele L’Afrique and by extension to  the Belgian embassy, that of America, the European Union,  the National and international human right commission on the farmer grazer conflict situation in a letter dated 26th May 2016 captioned and signed by the regent Fon of Tudig Prince Ndong Vincent Awazi “ Intimidation, legal and Administrative harassments by DO Aminkeng against the Palace of Tudig, Tudig citizens and Acha citizens” which is stirred up for selfish interest by some Key elite around the region and herdsmen for selfish interest with the supreme benediction of some powers that be, to go wild, chaotic and crazy on the few borrows around Tudig if they continue pushing them to the wall in their own very blessed land. A portion they freely gave to their then late father in the years 1969 and today their generation of today is claiming right to ownership of a cross section of land over the village, which to them cannot work.
Expressing their woes, miserable positions and situation these widows living basically from the fall outs of the community farm or better still the village farm which covers about 12 hectares which operates with the supported finance of Belgian and American development NGOs have promised to rain hell if anybody would dare want to deprive them of their livelihood and not even going the extend to kill President Paul Biya’s great vision for the country which is greatly seen lying in the farms.
The genesis of the farmer grazer crisis and where the DO of Mbengwi central comes in lies in the fact that, there has been this existing hectares of land about 12 in Tudig village which for years has been a conflict zone between the farmers and the grazers up hill. This centre or area of conflict only borrowed serious attention when recently, in the last six months, a Belgian volunteer, Jan Joris Cappelle who doubles as a specialist in solving farmer grazer crisis sourced for fund worth about 40 millions to support multiple farming activities in the area and was not long repatriated back to Belgium for making it difficult to the administration in solving farmer grazer conflict because “he was too much financing farmers” which was the sole reason for his repatration.
This to the poor widow villagers was annoying and vexing given that they live solely on the fall outs from that farm. Not only that some few bororow individuals have taken upon themselves to be poisoning the mind of the administration and misleading them into actions which are seriously damaging to the welfare of these poor villagers.
The DO Mbengwi central for his over six years over that Sub-Division even dough meticulous in the way he has been handling situation in that part of the country through the enjeuxs currently going on is pleaded by the people out of annoyance to stay hands off the crisis which they know very well that it is orchestrated by some few wayward borrow elements and sponsored by one of North West highest land grabber whom we prefer not to disclose his name.
Worthy to note is also that this matter dates since 13 November 2015 when the DO issued a convocation to the Tudig Fon’s representative, Tudig traditional Council with reference NW.06/02/21310/PS/15 based on a complain from Ardo Horro’s representative of Tudig ardorate against both parties and a certain unknown white Man working in hand to destabilize social Peace in

the conflict area, by trying to put the farmers and grazers at logger heads and blocking of a drinking spot where an injunction order has been placed, on the 17 of that month with intention to forward the matter to the state counsel’s office if they were not to show up.
It is also very important to note that the matter that has been receiving serious administrative attention is also going alongside with misguided Interix orchestrated by individuals for selfish ends which is what the villagers are strongly against and would only desire that what ever such individuals are doing or playing about with, they should leave them with their only source of  livelihood or better still if they have to intervene, it should be to protect and guarantee their landed assert which is what they desire most absolutely.  Hear them “anything other than that we will go on rampage”, calling on the DO who they know is a seasoned administrator to wave off all the fabricated lies and intoxicating facts advanced by enemies of progress and use his clear voyance and administrative charisma to put to rest what is about to ruction into another Tudig village bororow confrontation in the North West Region known reputed for farmers grazers conflicts in Cameroon.
