That was through a red feather traditional decorations or recognition coming from some dignified  Fons of the North West Region through Life Time Achievement Media group Award  that took place in Bafoussam at Talotel on the 29th of May 2021 under the distinguished patronage of the Governor of the West Region Awa Fonka Augustine and under the supreme sponsorship of Kadji humanitarian Foundation.

The August occasion in May gathered quite a good number of high profile personalities in different works of life who have contributed enormously in nation building through selfless services to the Nation and it’s development. In attendance at the prestigious Award ceremony in it’s 10th Anniversary and 2020-2021 edition were, the Rector of the University of Dschang Prof. Tsafack Roger, Prof. John Ebai Egbe, Dr Fru, Limbe, Tiko, Bafut,  council Mayors, Dangote cement, zenith insurance, Ntarikon, Aningdoh credit unions, Hana Njong of CRTV Bafoussam, kitchen competition Ltd etc.

This routine Media outing or exercise to award merits and excellence according to it’s promoters (Tim Finnien and Tamukong Roland) is meant to server as a moral boaster and encouragement to hard work. By doing so, actors are motivated and spurred to do all in their best to remain on top while leaving their own individual special landmarks on the distinguished sands of our times.

By God’s special Grace, the colorful occasion which served as a unifying factor projected and exhibited talents of most outstanding Cameroonians who have done a lot for the country and needed a serious Pat on their backs.

Coming back to the North West Treasury Paymaster General (TPG) Noupoudem Ferdinand who was traditionally decorated amongst others. He, according to the Life Time Achievement Award Management committee was nominated and voted by a jury of about 24 members made up of leaders of classified working institutions, groups and human rights organizations for instilling sanity and transparency in the systematic payment of state funds to service providers through accountable policies and well defined frame works. Which has scored him all the shots  this while for excellence performance in the management operation and judicious payment of state funds. Thanks to his committed services North West National Treasury has gained back it’s credibility as a Finance arm of the country structured to effectively and efficiently do payments.

“Operation Epervier” Over 24 Ministers Before the Special Criminal Court these Two Days, PM to Appear Last #Doors of Kondengui Wide Open and it is Likely most will be Picked by Early Next Month Before Cabinet Reshuffle

News avails that fresh arrest warrants has been signed by high quarters of the Republic and it is most obvious that over 15 Ministers whose passports have been seized already, will be picked before government replace her Ministers.

They are the Minister of health and his Directors plus Regional Delegates, Prof. Fame Ndongo, Nganou Njoumessi, a bag of Anglophone members of government, some officials of the Ministry of Finance, state Treasury and Taxation etc.

The reason for their arrests is on the basis of multiple high handed charges and counts of misappropriation and embezzlement of state funds plus complicity and conspiracy against the state.

These acts according To the state are regarded as diabolic, abominable and treasonable. As such, the routine is to remand, and arrest authorities responsible for such scandalous acts against the regime.

As we report, a dozen are in jail for political reasons, embezzlement and the famous albatross affaire. What we must note is that, mass arrests of state officials are often conducted at the verge of cabinet reshuffle for room to be given or latitude for new appointments. That you and I must accept.

Going by the rhythm of the present dispensation and changing times, following multiple scandals associated to high members of government, there are obvious reasons for Mass arrests before this weekend or next month's cabinet shake up which has long over due.

The over 15 billion racket uncovered under the Minister of Health Dr. Manaouda Malaichi, does not spare him a warrant. Coming to Nganou Njoumessi, the Babadjou, Bamenda road wahalla will take his head. Prof. Fame Ndongo of Higher education risks been picked for eyeing the Presidency, made known to the public recently by ace Journalist Remi Ngono. The Minister of Basic education plus a good number of MINFI officials and taxation will be jailed. As for Anglophone government officials, most of those with vaulting ambitious from the look of things are already landing themselves into trouble.

 Cameroon’s state machinery it must be noted grinds slowly but steadily. The days ahead in Cameroon are so telling and challenging to the Regime and officials in government. Affaire a suivre…

Editorial: How Our Whistle Blowing Campaign Calling on Emergency Actions to Rescue COVID-19 Funds from the Hands of Thieves is Paying Off: Dr. Manaouda, Dr. Madeleine, Plus 10 Regional Delegates “ Enroute” to Kondengui

That is to the Yaounde maximum security prison where embezzlers, misappropriatotors of state funds and political prisoners are kept. As we report, a dozen are languishing there in on charges for stealing government money or committing dangerous crimes against the state.

History have it on good books that all past health Ministers in Cameroon are thieves starting from Urbaine Olangenena who is serving prisons terms for stealing HIV/ AIDS money to Andre Mama Fouda who was spared after the alarming rate at which he squandered monies meant to rescue the health sector from serious health hazards then,  to the present Minister who has out rightly gone notorious in the mismanagement of over 15 Billions  COVID -19Funds.

We saw prison coming for the present Minister looking at how excited he was with the influx of money from the international community to contain Corona and the way he was toiling around with. Not to talk of the auction sales or businesses going on in the Regional hospitals and Delegations because of COVID (that is the greagre business or Marche).

We are all living witness to all the noise made by the Minister about national screening campaigns against COVID and nothing was effectively done. Not to talk of the continues and general outcry by the population and health personnel on the shortage in testing kids for COVID mindful of all the purchase orders placed daily by the Minister.

Coming back to the alarming and whooping sums in billions disbursed to the Minister of scientific research and all other health support agencies to combat the virus, yet nothing is seen feasibly in place?, makes mockery of the Minister and Co.

In all, one is just tempted to conclude that the Minister and his collaborators in the fight to contain COVID in Cameroon were out to swell their Bank accounts and pockets. We are all living witness to the villas belt out of COVID funds by health officials, the pooch cars bought, and monies deviated to foreign bank accounts just for this short while.

Thank God our persistent calls and whistling blowing campaigns on the alarming rate at which the Minister of health and his ten Regional Delegates were squandering COVID funds at the mercy of human lives, has been brought to books.

Their recent appearance before the special criminal court in Yaounde after several state audit resolutions will certainly land them in jail. Bear with us, just the figures, the rates and amount that has changed hands and into terrible and horrible accounts for this short while shows how wicked and greedy Manaouda is and deserves jail.

It is not for nothing that Hon. Nintcheu, SDF Parliamentarian came in calling for Mass arrest of Ministers to help the stinking situation. The situation is such that no one should be spared just as the Minister has rightly acknowledged that “he is not going to die alone”. What a Disgrace to the Medical corp in Cameroon (Thieves in borrowed Robs helping to sink the fortunes of the State).

Officials of FAWCAM Step up Plans Ahead of 2021 World Animal Day Celebration in Cameroon, for October 4

Professor Ben Fru Wara- Animal Welfarist advocate W.A.D AMBASSADOUR FOR CAMEROON

In connection with the celebration of World Animal Day, October 4, 2021 FAWCAM shall; Offer three Masses respectively in July, August and September begging God to enlighten Cameroonians to have respect for Nature and to be aware that all creation (including animals) is God’s work entrusted to human responsibility.

They shall equally on Monday 4th October 2021 run a one day humane education workshop involving animal owners, users and veterinarians on improved treatment and health care of equids. The center shall in addition also raise awareness of equids and their vital role in the lives of their owners who depend on them for livelihoods.

Books like; Cameroon concern for Animals,  Contribution for donkeys to the Economy of Cameroon written by Professor Ben Fru Wara- Animal Welfarist advocate on display that blessed day, shall be launched.

Involving  Cameroon in celebrating World Animal Day, October 04 among other reasons  will be much more to raise awareness of the day and its primary purpose is to raise the status of animals and to raise awareness of animal welfare issues in Cameroon. FAWCAM  by it and through the forum, will show her philanthropic side in improving the lives of animals for years.

FAWCAM (The Foundation for Animal Welfare) it must be noted, is a renowned Bamenda based charity that has been improving the health and welfare of companion animals /pets and farm and working with animals in Cameroon. “Last Man Standing” Multiple Award Winner Mayor Tubah Council Knighted

This time for his industrious and astute services to the nation, that was on Thursday 20th May 2021 at the esplanade of the North West Governor’s office.

Amongst a cross section of North Westerners from different working class and sectors, Mayor Tanjong Martin Meshogung was distinguished amongst 100s of Cameroonians who have contributed enormously to Nation building.

Mayor Tanjong Martin's domain is the Council where he was nominated and selected by government for the grand medal. Two years back, it should be noted, he was awarded a medal and this year he is Knighted with another supreme order medal of the state. Which speaks well and all about the handy works of the Mayor over Tubah Council for the past eight to nine years.

Eight exhaustive  years has the Mayor put in at the helm of that Municipality in the domain of opening and grading of farm to market roads, building of coverts and bridges, building and improvement of health infrastructures, proper realization and execution of public contracts and investments, building of modern market sheds, harnessing, protection of catchments and the supply of portable water, waste management, hygiene and sanitation, improvement and building of school infrastructures, provision of prompt and adequate humanitarian aids, award of multiple scholarships, creation of employment, above all nature protection, the promotion of vast and diverse agricultural values plus peace and security ensured etc.

The list is long and vast about the Mayor and his selfless and endless stride towards the great country’s emergence starting from his own municipality and village of origin Bambili.

Tubah Council for those who do not know it, it is made Up of four villages, Bambui, Bambili, kedjom Keku and Ketingoh in Mezam Division of the North West Region.

It’s Mayor Tanjong Martin is a Civil engineer by career and a business man par excellence who is serving the Council on a second mandate, first as SDF party Mayor, and now as a CPDM party Mayor. He is a dynamic and a pragmatic politician who has travelled the world. Mayor Tanjong Martin in his late 50s is still very strong, flexible and full of innovative ideas.

Above all Penitentiary Constrains and Challenges In Cameroon; Bamenda Central Prison is, “Waxing Strong”

Growing leaps and bounds,  beyond imagination and impressively meeting the expected goals of the unit corps. This is surprising in the heart of the Anglophone crisis being one of the most targeted prisons in the North West Region by separatists fighters.

Most targeted because she is in keeping of most of the notorious elements redeployed to Bamenda prisons after separatists force launched a full scale operation to burn down all prisons in the Regions looking after their accomplices and hardened criminals to recruit. We are here referring to the Wum, Ndop, Kumbo, Fundong prisons breaks which occurred simultaneously between 2018, 2019.

Now, after several futile attempts, to cause Prison break and burn down it's infrastructure for hardened criminals to be recuperated into their respective separatists groups or camps,  Bamenda Central Prisons is still solidly standing on it’s heels, pillars and foundation untouched with a sound moral record and high profile.

This write up is motivated and inspired by the call and absolute need for appreciation “when something is good we must learn to say it is good and not always base our arguments on ark word questions or outright criticism”. 

Tombs Up for Bamenda Central Prison Administration, it’s administrators and personnel for work not only well done but meetings the expected goals of the Minister of Justice and keeper of the seals..  

The penitentiary just like any other uniform Corp has it’s own varied problems, but the present cream of administrators for long have braved all odds to reach out for it’s social welfare and moral upkeep. 

Eye witness accounts attest how the Registrar in Chief Gen. Asanguh Ndama Henry plus the Regional Delegate of Penitentiary Gen. Kigha Theodore and support staff are doing quite a commendable job. Here team work is paying off, structures and units put in place operate base on the law and deliver sanctions accordingly.

At the Bamenda Central prisons, human face is given to governance that is why there is some degree of “laisse faire” and only discarded when there is vehement abuse of rights by in mates  with the accomplice of some elements.

The registrar in Chief and his formidable staff, not to over sing their praise, are in the safe hands of posterity and Divine justice will give them a  positive mark  if they are to leave the place (Bamenda Central Prisons) today because, they will be leaving the place better than they met it.

What we must take note of is that,  Bamenda Central Prison today is better than in the days of Gen. Nganjo Mama, Gen. Njeng Daniel, Gen. Tiwa Jonas and Gen. Musi who did their very best with what they could afford  and the present regime are also doing all in  their best with what they can afford to boost infrastructure, feeding, hygiene and sanitation, health, recreational, rehabilitation and Reformation programs, above all contain COVID-19.

The history of the creation of Bamenda Central Prisons dates far back as the late 60s and has gone a long way to arrive at the blazing results she is scoring or recording today with security beef up to the teeth.

For his selfless and unreserved services to the nation. The works of this seasoned administrator and specialized audit state controller are so telling and visible.

As a pride of this nation from Santa Sub-Division and Akum most precisely, Prof. Chi Asafor Cornelius holds a dignified academic record and a very rich career profile.

As a university Don he left his foot prints, and passed as a model university lecturer.  In the domain of state audit control, he showed a great mark of honesty and transparency on how he went about exercising his assigned operations. Today as the sectary General of the National Commission for the promotion of Bilingualism and multiculturalism NCPBM, the commission is well animated thanks to his able working prioress and useful interjections to enable Cameroonians have a proper mastery of the commission's subject matter.

Coming to the knight of honour placed on the shoulders of Prof Chi Asafor by the state at the conference center two days ago, it is not an error at all, for it is placed on a well deserving shoulder;

As a seasoned administrator of exceptional class,

Prof. Chi Asafor has served this nation in varied capacities so diligently and judiciously that he falls amongst seasoned administrators who need to be celebrated as iconic figures in the history of Cameroon. He happens to fall amongst those who have stood the taste of time  and are still doing their best in the extra years, days and hours they are putting in as general overseers and exchequers in government.

He is of the ruling and the winning party in Cameroon, the CPDM . He heads the Santa CAUCAUS

and has been very instrumental in defending his party colors through his people centered approach to politics and interactions. Prof. Loves his country that is why he has put in all his best to assist the country to forge ahead in almost all the areas he has been called to serve and has never thought of settling abroad to be exploited as a foreign expert.

Prof has been very instrumental in helping to pacify first his Santa brothers and sisters in the face of the deepening Anglophone crisis before intervening at the national levels in the commission where he serves as a technical adviser and has been able to combat hate speech, while promoting Bilingualism and multiculturalism without restrain.

As concerns the campaigns for back schools in the North West restive Region of Cameroon, he has been at the center, in Santa through the formidable CAUCAUS, they have been able to donate benches to schools, didactics materials to teachers and parents plus 100s of scholarships to children. Thanks to their multiple and diverse  interventions peace and tranquility is gradually returning to Santa in Particular and North West in general.

Prof Chi Asafor by his works, actions, comportment and articulation you can tell verily well that he is a perfect gentleman. His shaped behavior and disciplined actions make him strict, honest and complex but very open and welcoming, that is why his generosity knows no bound  and his compassion over glaring through his transparent and honest works. He remain a God fearing man with a kind heart and a hard earned reputations that he has always stood firm to protect. He is indeed a true son of the soil and practical like a “white man”.

His records while in office speaks for themselves. As a deliverer, through out his career he has learned to offer the best of himself through clean, honest, transparent and judicious practices in office. The Mbayu Led Rescue Mission for PWD Football Club Paying off; Over 54 millions Raised, An Ultra Modern Foton 11m BJ6113 Bus to be Delivered Soon

“The make we help PWD” fund raiser to rescue the PWD football club after their bus caught fire enroute for league matches two months ago,  is paying off and is gradually bringing the much expected results.

The whole exercise, which is apparently still open and on going has raised to the tune of over 54 millions frs cfa as of last update send out by the fund raising committee led by H.E Mbayu Felix of external relations.

So far an open tender was made by PWD social club on transparent terms and studies the team finally awarded on the 6th of May 2021 the supply contract to FOKOTO ATD motor company to procure for the team an ultra modern air conditioned bus dubbed Foton BJ6113. The bus according to the terms of supply will be delivered in less than 62 working days.

So hard to believe, but the dream of PWD social club is gradually coming to pass thanks to the solidarity of North West elites who answered massively to the appeal calls of Minister MBAYU FELIX “make we help PWD” after their bus fire incident where the team lost almost all of their belonging.

The commitment and love expressed through out the whole exercise and through the various heavy contributions made by elites only goes a long way to Forster and strengthen the fact that elite are all gradually coming back to their respective sense of belonging, ready at all times to be each other’s keep and helper.

Trust and transparency plus the credible people at the head of the exercise, this reporter must emphasize worked like magic and played a very instrumental role for the fund raising campaign and today PWD is enroute to get a brand new bus and financial assistance from the elite who have so far not placed any connotation to their gesture.

This symbolic action from the elites goes a long way to rekindle hope and readminister trust in the people who respectively has celebrated the kind and humble gesture to a team that has galvanised alot of happiness and joy amongst youths of the North West Region.

“Dismissal” of Hon. Joshua Osih another Madness of the Century by SDF Hierarchy

Admitting application of article 8.2 by littoral Regional Executive of the SDF and forwarding it to the Legal department of the party for cross examination amounts to hearing and possible ousting of Joshua Osih from the party. In technical terms or in other words, NEC finds Nintcheu  and CO’s decisions appropriate.

“Admittance means indirect Approval” that he Hon. Joshua Osih has been  involved in abominable and treasonable acts against the Party,  which compounds his case and  completely rubbish and strip the National Democratic Front Party of any genuine and meaningful sense of reason.

“Madness, real Madness indeed” are the tongues of great political pundits wagging on the matter, “How Fru Ndi and his loyalists are all gradually growing Mad” to have approved all the personally levied accusations of Hon. Nintcheu styled to discredit Hon. Joshua before Cameroonians as they run the race for SDF chairmanship.

It is unfortunate that Fru Ndi where he is has apparently Dismissed almost all SDF bigwigs, from the founding fathers of the party to the National executive council members and yesterday placed her candidate for the last 2018 Presidential elections in Cameroon in the duck for crucifixion. What a disgrace?

Nobody is responsible for all the shortcomings that has befallen the party all this while other than the “political blunders or atrocities committed by the SDF chieftain”.

A Party hierarchy which finds fault on basically every little thing, bully it's Senators, MPs, Mayors and acts based on emotion is bound to crash.  Hasty decision taking is what has landed the SDF party in all the mess she finds herself today and has suddenly become the laughing stock of this our generation.

“Power to the people’s party  has lost credibility and Democratic values, the house is divided, head quarters transferred to Yaounde, National party now transformed and controlled by Francophones. SDF from the look of things has lost focus and is falling to rise no more.

The one dollar question is how is the “sacking” of Joshua Osih from the party helping to build back the lost confidence of the people in the party, or will it ease Fru Ndi's coming back to Bamenda where he has been banned from coming to,  by separatists fighters who regard him as a big “Black Leg”?

Fru Ndi has sold basically all values of the party and is presently auctioning some of those we thought were the last “men standing” to sustain the paralyzed  party. In fact the Party is now “a three man's squad affair” Fru Ndi, Nchumuluh and Hon Nintcheu.

To end this analysis, one must lay precision that SDF has done a lot for the evolution of Cameroon’s Democratic process, the promotion of liberal rights, but has of recent desecrated the political scene with their random and wanton decisions or Sanctions.  General opinion poll is against SDF NEC's Decision that it is only helping to give room to baby political parties and feeble minded politicians to gain grounds on the political scenes at the mercy of the people’s wish for a strong and a formidable opposition party that can wheel the destiny of Cameroon for a better tomorrow.

Ayaba Hotel Bamenda Now has a New Director General

Oundoua replaces the untouchable Doume Zacharie who has Lord over the said government hotel institution for years until this May 2021,  after Jean Baba the people's Director General was sacked.

This time, instead of only sacking and referred to other duties, Doume the Director General of exceptional class base on multiple charges risks going to jail. As we report, his office and residence in Ayaba Hotel is sealed pending audit from supreme state control, a general inventory and assessments to be made,  plus the technical handing over exercise.

We are tipped that the rush up action to kick out the said DG is motivated by an avalanche of short comings in management, infrastructural development, personnel management, above all accumulated deals with various stake holders of the hotel.

Almighty Doume leaves Ayaba hotel stinkingly rich, better than he took over the said reputable institution from Baba,  worst than it’s clients and the population of the North West expected to see of a hotel that has been selling like “hot cake” since the Advent of the Anglophone crisis in 2016 because of in security around town and has generated quite an unimaginable billions to boost it’s up keep, her services, and infrastructure.

Yet there are leakages all over the hotel, lighting problems, pollution, general and daily complains amongst staff,  problems of arears and salaries etc. "From Hotel to a Hostel"?

It has not been well all this while between most of Ayaba hotel staff and the Reputable Director General who doubles as the General overseer of the day to days running of the said hotel.

Complains from high placed government officials who have quite often solicited the services of the hotel in  one way or the other have not been quite positive also to the honourable minister of tourism Bello Buba, which may likely be one of the reasons why he was sacked.

What a regrettable situation, but a stitch in time. Meaning, the new “Man” Ondoua have to do all in his best within the shortest possible time to deliver. The challenges are enormous for the new management team and the stakes are equally high.

At least some sanity will be brought back to the management style of Ayaba Hotel, most especially as government plans to put a special eye on it’s day to days running and function.

The Glorious Exit of A Very Senior State Man “Pa Akamancho Achidi Achu”

“What have you and I not heard about the old Fox, better still Yellow Kaki in Cameroon politics or life na Njangi, not to talk of his popular saying you do good, you puttam for your kwa, you do bad you dasso puttam na for your kwa, ground no di fool man”.

Cameroon’s one time Prime Minister in the very hot days of Cameroon  politics is no more. One time Minister of Justice has gone to meet his spiritual Director,  Rock farm and the bearer of the 2nd generation vision for agriculture in Cameroon is gone. What a great lost.

Pa even at the point of his glorious exit remained a committed state man  and a passionate farmer.

One time vice President of the Senate, the author of “Santa Maffia group” a political guru bows out leaving a multitude to celebrate his very useful and meaningful years on earth.

I personally see Pa as that kind of a man “with a kind heart like that of a priest and a loving behavior like that of Jesus”. His generosity knew no bounds or limits, I remember how we University students use to celebrate him in those very good old days as being very kind to us, how North West Fons use to celebrate him as a very Generous and open handed Prime Minister.

The entire Press Corp have Pa in their good books, it is not for nothing that he was always called Pa because he was truly a father.
