Events of late in the Cameroon political scene, in and around Etoudi speaks for themselves, that a political or military transition is eminent. Be it smooth or hard is what is so preoccupying as there is likely going to be a clash between succession rites and the varied factions that be eying the crown.
What
this reporter is saying and from the opinion of great political pundits, there are
many factions in Cameroon at this point in time eying the Presidential seat and
grand lodge. We have the Frank Biya factions who is the son, the Ngongo’s who are temporary
playing with power, the Fame Ndongo’s, the Anglophone faction behind Chief Dr Dion Ngute, the Faction believing in a Nordist taking back power and the
Faction believing in a Bameleke man, Kamto Maurice
or a youth political actor Cabral Libi taking command.
Early
this year, the Frankist movement took the stage with calls and declarations for
Frank Biya, it was not for nothing? Well intended.
The Fons, North West elite in the last Prime Minister’s outing to Bamenda to asses the degree of the implementation of the decisions of the major National Dialogue, gave the PM almost all the honors and attributes placed on President Paul Biya when he was crowned “Fon of Fons” in Bamenda. What a glaring message to “Yaounde” which is still speaking for itself.
His excellency
Mr Ferdinand Ngongo for weeks now have been inspecting sports facilities around
the country ahead of the upcoming AFCON with all ace and protocol that is compared
to none reserved only to the Presidential couples. To tell Cameroonians indirectly that powers have changed hands and the public needs to become use to.
Another
sample survey conducted two days ago by high class officials puts PM Chief Dr Dion
Ngute as first Anglophone President far above all individuals fighting to become
next President of the Republic of Cameroon.
All these situations are happening on different intervals and so telling beyond human apprehension unless well interpreted. Why did they suddenly come up with the Frankist movement? Why did the North West Fons give a similar attribute they gave Biya to Dion Ngute in Bamenda? Why is Ferdinand Ngongo comfortably and freely passing for the head of state as he goes about inspecting sports infrastructures? All of these happenings are not by chance they are Divine ordained circumstances, pregnant with a whole lot of message for Cameroonians and it's fate in the nearest future.
A big
question mark crowns our daring observations? Just as Anglophones wants a President,
the Nordists want back their thrown. While the Bamelekes are rallying behind Maurice
Kamto, the Bulu's and the Beti’s are on each
other’s throat.
One thing
is clear, there is confusion in the kingdom and only the special grace of God will
see Cameroon through a smooth transition. The system needs complete overhauling
and a spiritual leadership rule.
