Tourists Destination: Visit Bambui ECO Village and Angafor III the (Second) 2nd Generation Agronomist and Environmentalist of the Year

HRH Fon Angafor Mombo-Oh the III of Bambui village, which is the Administrative head quarter of Tubah Sub-Division speaks volumes in the domain of agronomy, natural resource management, biodiversity, sustainable development, wild life reserve and conservation, livestock breeding, and eco tourism. Hear and read this authoritatively from this Cameroon climate change ambassador who was marveled with what he saw and experienced at the Bambui Palace vicinity where he stopped over for a courtesy and a pay homage visit.

Not known to the world, we were marveled and held at spell bound with what I and my delegation saw. A village picking up and fast adapting to changing times and climate change exigencies engineered by it’s Fon an architect of development, who is not only one leg into the vast field of agronomy but all head in the diverse sector.

Change and sustainable development goes with the actor and chieftain in every given environment. That every positive thinking mind must acknowledge. A new done  is gradually coming to shine in Bambui, this Reporter must acknowledge in the domain of climate change arbitration through farming, tree planting, natural resource management and forest reserve conservation etc.

To be frank, in the heart of the deepening crisis, Fon Angafor the III has braved all odds and is still putting up a clean potential and an enabling village that will attract every tourist around the world.

As we report, Bambui village is fast growing and developing it’s potential to soon become a tourist’s destination thanks to a Fon and a people who have not only embraced cultural development values or affinities, but sustainable governance and Agric business in all it’s forms and facets.

Bambui dates decades and is the bread basket of Tubah Sub-Division, the umbilical cord of Mazam, the seat of three giant professional higher institutions of the country and host basin, cum outlet of all the lakes in the North West Region.

St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary Bambui

Bambui village harbors part of the Puntical University in Rome (St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary and one of the biggest library in West Africa), part  of the University of Bamenda, Irad Baforkum, Agric school, Dschang Attenne, National Polytechnic,  all the Priest and Friar formation centers you can imagine (the Dominican sisters, Sisters of Christ, the Capuchins brothers) and all the natural, forest, and wild life reserve you can imagine.

Coming back to the eco touristic potentials of the village harnessed by its Fon who is labeled today the “number one farmer and Agric technician of the year”,

Fon Angafor the III as I report is into large scale farming and subsistence agriculture. He runs a grafted pear farms of over a hectares, a fish farm, maize and plantain plantations,  tomatoes farms, a piggery, a poultry farm, a forest reserve, a medicinal farm and a museum plus an edified Palace complex.

Welcoming as he is from our studies, and the hospitality of the Bambui man blends it all. Which is why of late a cream of international organizations and NGOs have picked interest in the village because of it's natural potentials and the natural abilities of the people championed by their Fon. Reignite Action for development UK and Dr Arnold must be celebrated for setting the pace and initiating a structural adjustment and development plan for the village that has since stood the taste of time.

Dr. John David Arnold of PAP Foundation USA

As a peace loving people, the Fon has remained unique and fundamentally open to the people and the outside world, reasons why all is working well for the collective welfare and good of the village.

Bambui speaks volumes in the collective history of Cameroon and his people has demonstrated that collective outstanding values for the past years.

Hear us, read us and see with us, verily the world must have now understand stood as we round up this agro village report  that there are a people some where in Cameroon in this planetary village working collectively to make their village a tourist’s destination and a climate change free zone. In less than no time and year, any subject visiting Bambui from wherever will be marveled with what is in place and is ensue.

Nature’s gift and abundance is slowly and steadily becoming a heritage as the Bambui community and it’s Fon mobilize all living forces to meet the challenges and the exigencies of an emerging world confronted by the global challenges of this century.
