Senator Prof. Carl Mbufung Pomps Over Seven (7) Millions to Promote Science Education in Ngoketujia Division

As a seasoned lecturer and a University Don in Cameroon there has never been any better ways to give back or pay back to his community or the people he represent in the Senate other than promote, support and subsidize science studies and professional education amongst his owns to follow the marching trend of scientific revolution.

According to him the world has evolved scientifically and it is fast growing digital. Which requires adequate measures and a lot of commitments, sacrifice and engagement to promote such values.

This, the renown Professor from Bamisseng Village in Ngoketujia Division, made know in his first outing as Senator on  Saturday the 28th of October 2023 at the conference hall of the Regional Delegation of Secondary Education in Bamenda to extend a hand of favor, support and encouragement to children of his own Division of origin. They were about 20 twenty of them who performed very well in class and government public exams last year.

Laureates of the science better still  2023 STEM Scholarship  and academic excellence award each bagged home cash prizes and certificates.

STEM is an initiative according to the donor meant to empower  our present and future generations to use science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills and reflective reasoning to create a skilled and innovative work force, equipped to solve complex  problems, so as to drive our economic growth, technical advancement and overall, the sustainable development of our country.

This great initiative is founded on the pillars of sound moral and scientific education that will lead to the great emergence of Cameroon with a future generation full of skills and abilities to industrialize and digitalize its economy.

Professor in his unique and special ways or style of doing things used the occasion as a forum to blend science education and politics, sending a strong message to Cameroonians that there are no better ways of doing politics than giving back to your communities through the corridors of not only education but scientific education.

The Governor’s representative Marceliot Njunang who doubles as head of Division for Economic and socio cultural affairs at the North West Governor’s office, on his part lauded Prof. Carl’s great academic initiative that adds value to politics. “A political outing transformed into a scientific and educational empowerment gathering to meet emergency development goals”. Which to him is a major way of problem solving as solution bringing politicians. He thanked the donor and exalted laureates, encouraging them to remain Focus and committed.
