Resolution of the Meeting of Front Line Liberation Movement of Ambazonia
Leaders of the front-line liberation movements of Ambazonia; AGC, IG, MoRISC, RoA, SCYL, SCNC and The Consortium, meeting in WASHINGTON, DC, on Friday 17th and Saturday 18 AUGUST 2018 after several hours of heated deliberations, resolved as follows:
1- To unite forces, build synergies and engage in collaboration at several levels to defend and uphold the independence of Ambazonia.
2- Meeting on the eve of massive demonstration outside the White House, the leaders agreed to explore avenues of cooperation around the areas of self-defense, diplomacy, communications, joint fund-raising (Finance), and assistance to women, children, refugees and internally displaced persons.
3- They also agreed to consult on a permanent basis in order to build trust and confidence among themselves. Even the most intractable differences between the leaders, paled in the face of their common and supreme desire to bring freedom and independence to Ambazonia.
4- Accordingly, the leaders adopted an Action Plan in view of La Republique du Cameroun’s electoral charade billed for the 7th of October 2018. They called on all Ambazonians to mount hundreds of thousands of roadblocks to cut off access to Ambazonia for the occupation forces; to mobilize for massive public demonstrations and a generalized uprising against the occupiers, taking full control of the streets, towns and villages from midnight on the 30th of September 2018.
5- Weary of the ongoing genocidal violence that the Biya colonial regime has unleashed and is expected to ramp up in lead-up to, during and after the rigging operation meant to maintain him in power come October 7, the leaders resolved that schools will not resume in Ambazonia this school year. Leaders declared their solidarity with parents, teachers and students who are justifiably determined to arrest the mental violence perpetrated on Ambazonian children who are put through an education system that forces them to accept second class citizenship. Ambazonian liberation movements expect schools to resume no earlier than September 2019, by which time Ambazonians expect to have secured their Homeland. Ghost towns will remain in force every Monday.
6- Leaders congratulated Ground Zero forces for their selfless sacrifice, resilience and commitment to the protection of our people. The leaders also condemned the activities of criminal gangs set up by the colonizer to harass, terrorize, kidnap and extort from our suffering masses and warned that all those responsible will face the long arm of the Ambazonian justice system.
7- The leaders reminded international companies and corporations that all contracts signed with La Republique du Cameroun on Ambazonian resources will never be binding and will be considered acts of theft. They frowned at the decision by the Confederation of African Football to proceed with the organization of the 2019 championship in the Cameroons; and warned that Ambazonian citizens and frontline movements cannot guarantee the security of teams and fans attending or playing games in Ambazonia.
8- Funds mobilized on Sunday, 19th August 2018, will be spent on ground zero needs, including women’s and children’s welfare, internally displaced persons and refugees.
9- Leaders adopted a policy of “zero tolerance” towards blackmail, mudslinging, and their coronaries, committing to sensitize their followers and surrogates to end the practice forthwith.
Rising Friday evening from the first phase of consultations aimed at laying the foundations for collaboration amongst them, the leaders expressed gratitude to the team of Ambazonian activists who facilitated the get-together and pledged to meet again soon. The facilitators of the talks Friday either traveled in from or were connected in via teleconferencing facilities from Chicago, USA, and three other countries (Canada, China and the United Kingdom.)
