Buhari Mbayu Encounter: Nigeria Pledge to Help Cameroon Out of Secessionists Movements

President Buhari in a state audience granted to the Cameroon’s Sectary of State for external relation Mbayu Felix  on Presidential assignment has reaffirmed and reassured the Cameroon government of his unreserved commitment in helping the country out of the present dilemma with Secessionists and separatists forces. Saying, “ensuring cross border security, the form of the state and it’s Territorial integrity  is both countries responsibility”.
These, he stated in firm and acute terms in the Presidential exchange that ensued between him and the Cameroon’s Sectary of State as he gave him details of developments on the ground concerning social peace and development in Cameroon in the face of the Anglophone crisis and Boko Haram disorder up North.Noting most especially that both countries share a common challenges which requires collective efforts.
Hear Femi Adesin the President's Spokesman “the President noted that Nigeria and Cameroon share historical ties and common borders which according to him makes it imperative for the two countries to look out for each other's wellbeing.
“You will have problems if your neighbors are not cultivated. And our relationship with Cameroon had been very clear since when I was serving in the military. The country offered us the needed support during our civil war”
The historic meeting it must be noted comes at the foot hills of an avalanche of spotted upheavals after the extradition of Nigerian separatists leader Namdi Kanu.
