World Bank Safety Net Project, WORLD ECHOES MEDIA GROUP, Subsidize Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD) in the North West Region

That was under the poverty alleviation scheme over ten years running in Cameroon.

These Persons Living with Disabilities in the North West Region on the 9th of August 2022 at the Bamenda I Council hall bagged home to the tune of 10 million francs CFA, each taking home a package not less than 180,000 FRS.

The 24 beneficiaries plus some 175 needy persons in Bamenda I, II, III Council area made up the additional mob that received  financial package from the joint venture initiative to better their lives.

These 24 persons living with Disabilities, we must lay precision were zeroed into the world bank safety net project thanks to the initiative of the Regional coordinator Kanjo Elvis from the high instructions of the country coordinator.

They happened to be laureates and winners of World ECHOES MEDIA GROUP 2021 CADMA AWARD (Cameroon Ability in Disability Media Award) for outstanding ventures or initiatives in their different works of live supervised by the Coordinating unit of associations for persons living with Disabilities CUAPLW.

As additional package to what they took home on that blessed they, World bank safety net project promised to subsidize each of them which is what called for the pay out ceremony that ensued at the Bamenda I Council hall on Tuesday the 9th of August 2022.

Thankful to the world bank project and program selfless and collective in it’s mission, the Mayors of Bamenda, I, II, III, saluted the project, it’s officials and cautioned recipients or beneficiaries to make good use of the financial package.

The Regional coordinator of safety net Kanjo Elvis on his part aired assurance of the poverty alleviation scheme, calling on all beneficiaries to put the money into good use to help better their lives. He also seized the opportunity to thank his boss the country coordinator for opting to add persons living with Disabilities in the program.

The coordinator of the Units of Associations for persons living with Disabilities Chick Sama on his part appreciated and celebrated the World Bank Safety net project for honoring their appointment and for keeping the redezvous, above all for making the project to be disability inclusive.

Coming back to the brain (WORLD ECHOES MEDIA GROUP) behind the world bank safety net joint humanitarian venture to alleviate poverty, it’s CEO Tamukong Roland Angong, talking to the press, praised the chain network of global actors committed to impacting, empowering and alleviating poverty. According to him live is much more meaningful when you give back to the people or your community. Once that is done regularly, it becomes an established cooperate social responsibility. To end, he seized the singular opportunity to announce another giant community based media initiative project to Award Climate change actors in the nearest future for their selfless services to nature and humanity. The GREEN GOLD MEDIA AWARD TO CLIMATE CHANGE AMBASSADORS it must be noted comes to accomplish the mission of global chain Media actors committed to combat climate change around the world, using all type of instruments and apparatus”.
