That was on Tuesday the 8th of November 2022 in the council hall, in a collective hearing and concertation ceremony which brought together all quarter and subject heads in Bamendankwe village.

"Prioritizing community  development through proper council management and accountability" was at the center of discussion. That is as established in the Bamenda I Council management agenda which requires that before they embark on community development they must first of all consult the direct recipients in question. What they need and how to go about the execution of the said project, while lodging some in the project lock book for subsequent execution.

As established, Bamenda I Council development public hearing ceremony took place with all development actors involved, each taking the floor to explain and justify what they have and want as Council support initiatives or projects in their various quarters.

Portable water, the opening and grading of roads was the top priority projects made mention of by almost all the quarters. Demanding that the water management board in the community be restructured to ensure the proper harnessing and management of water resources from the up land watersheds and catchment area.

Unanimously, the development plenary at the end of the heated concertation ceremony resolved to work hand in gloves to realize all earmarked projects while using Palace enforcement order as mentioned by the Fon to cause some markets and activities geared towards development to be effectively functional in the village.

The mayor Mbigha Felix also used the occasion to present a heavy duty road bulldozer procured by the council with financial assistance from the Minister of decentralization for the grading, digging and maintenance of village road networks.
