Opening another Great Chapter on
Climate Resilience Actions in Cameroon by;
“SELLING CLIMATE AWARENESS THROUGH
CREATIVE ARTS”
In the Project, CLIMATE ARTS
INCLUSION PROGRAM (CAIP) which is a Multidimensional approach to climate
resilience through Paintings, music, plastic arts, fashion design, craft and
multimedia production through creative innovation.
With overall mission to revive and
enhance climate consciousness in creative science.
In simple terms and intention CAIP,
is a collective arts approach to climate resilience, out to inject or inculcate
in them the culture and spirit of climate arts consciousness amongst artists while
carrying out their paintings, craft or needing, marking, fashion and design.
We are living in an Era where CLIMATE
DEMAND ACTIONS (CDA) and we must exploit all avenues or available means to raise
awareness.
The advent of Climate Arts Inclusion
program (CAIP) in the world of Arts in Cameroon and later in the world will be
the beginning of “Climate Educative cartoons on TV for children, eco friendly
music, paintings, craft, fashion and design etc which drives a cross a common sense
and call for climate consciousness.
Climate ARTS in other words is
driving across tree planting messages, waste management, nature protection,
Biodiversity conservation through works of art.
As a motivation, the concenscious
team of Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) Land media actors and Fanta
Bengy Arts shall be launching in Bamenda a CLIMATE ARTS CONTEST (CAC) in a
Press Briefing holding on Thursday the 20th of July 2023 ahead of
the celebration of Cameroon’s first ever CLIMATE ARTS FAIR (CAF) on the
Occasion of World Plastic Arts and Zero Emission Day, Thursday 21st
September 2023 in the North West Region.
