Kidnapped Arch Bishop of Bda According to Social Media, is Back, Sound, Safe & Strong

The breaking bad news circulating over social media and reaching our newsroom just when we are about to press that took catholic Christians and folks aback is now dispelled as mere speculation that their Arch Bishop was kidnapped.

Contrary to social media speculations, that the Arch Bishop of Bamenda Diocese Fontem Cornelius Esua was kidnapped, he was not. Rather, it was on his way back from pastoral works in Boyo Division precisely in Belo and Esu that he stumbled on and was intercepted by members of the Ambazonian Restoration force Boyo under the leadership command of General RK.
On that unfortunate 25th June 2019 evening, the Bishop on his way back met with and was intercepted by this armed group who offered to give him shelter since it was late and promised to accompany him back the following day to dismantle the road barricades and enable him go through. This is what transpired in the last 24 hour, and as we report new in also hold that the Arch Bishop is back in the Diocesan house, SOUND, safe and strong. For better update we leave you in the hands of the communication unit of Bamenda Diocese. Thank.
