Tubah and Ndop Councils have Effectively Voted and Adopted their 2022 Budget

That was in a maiden council session that took place respectively in Tubah and Ndop Council premises on the 8th and the 9th of December 2021 respectively.

The exercise, is an annual routine that falls within the frame work of the effective decentralization plan and regroups community representatives elected to deliberate on key issues concerning their villages, quarters in the municipality.

As 2021 fiscal year wraps up, for the sake of good council management, accountability and governance, council authorities need to present a balance sheet or billan of that year and what they have as priorities in anticipation for next fiscal year.

In the North West, aka crisis hit area of Anglophone Cameroon Mayor Tajong Martin and Mayor Dr. Ntoh Daniel Belengka have taken the lead to present their council accounts and have defended and voted their respective budgets irrespective of the security challenges.

The budget which is running to hundreds of millions in the face of security challenges will be used for the grading of farm to market roads, building of Coverts and bridges destroyed by separatists fighters, building of market sheds, rehabilitation of administrative infrastructures, waste management, the harnessing of water resources, humanitarian assistance and the promotion of hygiene and sanitation.

Speaking to the press on the occasion Mayor Tajong expressed signs of hope for the 2022 fiscal year while assuring the population of Tubah of their continues commitment and dedicated service to the municipality.

Mayor Dr Ntoh Daniel on his part, said mindful of the security challenges in Ndop, development must continue, revenues must be collected, schools must be belt, hospitals equipped and rehabilitated, clean portable water distributed etc. Sounding very optimistic, the Mayor assured the population of his municipality that it shall be well soon provided each and everyone remains another's keeper.
