A timely package that arrived at the
right time to the joy and happiness of all Bamenda public and fans of the PWD
football social club.
It all started like a joke and finally
came to pass, from a modest call for support to what has garnished back hope to
a helpless team that was faced with all type of challenges.
After the PWD bus fire incident a year
ago, everybody knew the football social club was finished, until he came up with
the PWD solidarity fund. That raised funds for the team’s upkeep, which has since
given back “P” ton ton hope.
“P” ton ton, everybody is much aware regained
it’s fighting spirit and sense of bravery, topping Cameroon league up to the finals
of the Cameroon cup after the said solidarity fund was launched and it has revived
their hopes greatly.
The, “Make we help PDW” initiative of Minister
Mbayu Felix, this Reporter must emphasis has paid off and has succeeded in bringing
all elite of the North West Region on board it’s management.
Thanks to this hope giver, everybody now
looks up to the Cameroon cup finals pitting Astre Football club and honorable “P”
ton ton with hopes of victory for the “Abakwa boys”. As the goal getters will be
playing the finals in grand style, with high morals and with all confidence. To be
more precise, victory is all assured, since all the financial, material and moral
boasters are all there.
History is in the making most assured as
PWD football social club brings home the trophy today 13th February 2022. Making it the third time North
West Region has picked the Cameroon cup finals continuously in three seasons.
Nothing good comes easy, and a disappointment they say is a blessings. Others have it in our normal pidgin jargons “something gets bad to fixe another” . “The Abakwa boys" thanks to the bus fire incident have
been catapulted, brought back on board and on rail to march on forever.
All thanks to his Excellency Mbayu
Felix, Minister of External relations who has proven beyond all reasonable doubts
to be a man of the people, for the people and by the people.
“P” ton ton has come to stay, hear it’s
supporters and fans, “the good Lord should continue to bless Minister Mbayu for
the Laudable initiative and venture, bless all the elite who contributed enormously,
and the management team who were entrusted the funds to manage. The victory is collective
and for every challenge, we shall collectively overcome for the collective welfare
of football in the Region in particular and Cameroon in general".
Coming home with the trophy, it is certain
that it will certainly work out magic to reestablish some certain degree of peace
in the entire no restive North West Region, stroke by the Anglophone Crisis or liberation
war.
