The 20 Years Outstanding Deadlock Between Fon Dofoa Zofoa III and Chief Bajoh Bihai III is gradually coming to an END and lasting solutions to the crisis are been sorted out to be cemented not long from now.

Both parties are gradually coming to terms and will certainly sink their differences in some few months ahead.

Fon Dofoa Zofoa III of Babungo

Information from authentic and authoritative sources have it on sound note that  Muokang village has extended an olive plant to Babungo Village for a day or date of reconciliation before 30rd June 2022 according to a communique signed by the village Council chairman Ndulah Laseh John on the 5th of December 2021.

The decisions was unanimously arrived at in the last village enlarged extraordinary assembly meeting that took place in Muokang rallying all community representatives.

They resolved to Make peace with Babungo and reconcile Chief Bajoh III and Fon Zofoa III.

As a bold step to put an end to the case, Chief Bajoh Bihai ordered his lawyers to discontinuation and withdraw the matter which had gone  right up to the administrative court of the North West Region Holden at Bamend on the 3rd of February 2022.

The duo, it must be noted have flex mussels for over 20 years on key issues concerning tradition, chieftaincy and succession rights.

That alone for these years has caused the two villages untold suffering and handicapped the performance of certain traditional or ancestral rites to adorn the gods.

At the mention of the upcoming or pending reconciliation meeting between the two villages, villagers can now sigh an air of relief as the misunderstanding between the two Fons, brothers for that matter had permanently kept the two villages in bondage.

At last, the silver lining in the crisis between the two Fondoms is coming to the lime light and hopes are over bearing that all will come back to the best soon. Which is what every son and daughter of both village have been longing for.

Babungo for those who do not know it, is one of the 13 villages in Ngoketunjia Division and Muokang is a third class Fondom in Babessi Sub-Division all of the North West Region of Cameroon.
