Prof. Fuh
Calistus Gentry, Minister, Sectary of State at the Ministry of Mines singularly
took upon himself on the occasion of the 56th Edition of Youth Day Celebrations
in Cameroon, to celebrate with his siblings in a special way.
On the
occasion, which experienced a huge and a massive turn out at the Misaje ceremonial
plaza, the Minister through his several humanitarian network programs of assistance
to the needy and community development, doll out scholarship funds, school assistance
gadgets and social welfare packages to the people.
In the
name of the people he truly represent in government, the honorable Minister on the
said occasion proved and renewed his confidence as man of the people through the
massive response of the people of Mesaje to his calls for peace and development
in the Sub- Division and by extension, Division.
According
to him, and on such an occasions, giving back to the people or community what they
essentially need is a duty and the responsibility of an authority or elite from
a particular village, Division or Region. Which is why he has continuously taken
upon himself the responsibility to always bless the people of his area, with social
welfare schemes and amenities.

As a man
of his words, humbled by his position, many are a youths from that part of the Region
who have been educated, empowered into lucrative business ventures thanks to his
humanity people centered development oriented ventures.
Prof. Fuh
Calistus man of the people and action on the occasion as leading member of the ruling
party the CPDM, also ceased the opportunity to transmit and extend to his people,
the head of state’s message of peace, love and unity.
Calling
on them to remain law abiding, tolerant and industrious as government seeks for
methodic solutions to problems in the youth sector as the country emerge.
Exceptionally,
on the occasion, 10 entrepreneurs, two from each Sub-Division that make up Donga-Mantung,
received cash to subsidize their businesses from the honorable Minister under his
scholarship fund (DOMASF).
This year’s
56th Edition of the youth day celebration in Cameroon was done under
the theme “Youth and Economic patriotism: Innovation and Resilience of youths in
times of COVID-19”.
