Senior
Barrister Emeritus Kemende Henry Gamsey who bowed out painfully on the 11th
of January 2022 in Bamenda, in the hands of miscreants, shall be laid to rest in
his home town and village Balikumbat in Ngoketunjia Division on the 25th of February 2022. Wake keep and
last honours by Lawyers and Senators will be on the 24th of February
2022 at the Mezam high court.
Senator
Barrister Kemende or better still Battonier fought a good fight, and painfully left the stage at a time Cameroonians
much needed him but also, at God’s unfortunate appointed time.
His passing
on to Glory is a great lost to the legal corps in Cameroon, the Senate and the opposition.
Barrister,
owner and Founder of Posterity Law firm, remains a lawyer of integrity, and exceptional
in the way he practice the profession and politics. As a politician and a social
critic, he said it all without mixing words.
History
today as he goes home to meet his eternal Lord and father, have him in it’s good
books as an established lawyer, a father and a friend to mankind whose love and
Charity knew no bounds.
In fact,
Barrister Kemende’s sudden departure at 56 leaves a fat hole in the Cameroon
legal corps as he left with unaccomplished files still on his table.
Harmless
Kemende in the words of this reporter “remains a germ and a super scale Lawyer, who expressed excellence,
tenderness and humility in all his submissions.
The always smiling Senator Barrister Kemende, a friend, man of the people is gone
Adieu, Battonier”
