The Population Questions Prof. Ngomo UB VC on, How is the Drama around Ekema’s Certificates Solving the Anglophone Problem? Will it Help Paul Biya Reinstate Lasting Peace in Cameroon? And why has Ekema Suddenly Become the Target CRUSADING for Lasting Peace & Nation Building

Quenching the flames of continues arson, terror, and kidnaps steadily instituted by the Anglophone struggle for independence with a growing momentum, is the preoccupation and responsibility of basically almost all Cameroonian and nothing other than that. To now leave the object and start chasing the shadow raises a lot of doubt and dust. To be more specific where Cameroon is only sound measures or actions tailored toward helping government out in the present crisis she is wrapped up in should be the subject of the day. It is abominable and treasonable at this crucial point in time when government is focused on looking for solutions through all avenues to solve the Anglophone problem for an individual to derail government’s attention to trivial issues sparking another wave of confusion every sound reasoning mind will bear with this reporter. I am here refereeing and taking you into the intricacies surrounding the so much noise that has been made around the certificate of the Lord Mayor to the Buea Council Ekema Patrick Esunge.

The drama around Ekema’s certificates magnified by the University of Buea officials are too telling and raising a lot of dust. For what made news in the early days of the Anglophone crisis in 2016 on social Media because Mayor Ekema a Patriot stood for a one and indivisible Cameroon to be brought back in the news by Prof. Ngomo and his University means they cherish the wave of confusion that is rocking Cameroon and are automatically taking sides with Ambalanders who want their autonomy in Cameroon at the mercy of anything.

Why the emphasis now, on Ekema’s certificate? is the great question and why now? And for what use? Striping him off his certificates what will it serve or help in the life of a self made man already established to the teeth? Are the brain storming questions that are rocking the minds of political and educational pundits who yearn earnestly for the Anglophone problem to be solved.

The Ekema certificate wahala diagnosed properly now looks like the Buea University Officials are using the matter to settle personal scores or to join other vicious South West elite in running down the personality of a fast growing patriot cum politicians.

Ekema Patrick who is now a household name in Cameroon and has made the Buea Municipality a modern citadel standing for peace and the territorial integrity of the nation should not be and cannot be made mockery or ridicule of because of certificate by fellow ones if they don’t want his head.

It is surprising that out of the 70 cases identified by the commission, the university officials chose to cramp on Mola Ekema. It is obvious that he is a personality and let it not also be because he has been against the struggle for independence (because the war about certificates was launched by social media advocates who saw Ekema as a threat to Southern Cameroon Independence), then the public may be tempted to see Buea University in support of secession and will not ally with anybody who differs.

Mayor Ekema on the alters of the University of Buea for sacrifice by witch-hunting elite brings a lot to book, in terms of damages on the person of the Lord Mayor,. How he got himself enrolled in the university in the first place? Before obtaining a Degree and Masters while working with the said institution is the answer the University owes the public now and not threatening to strip him off the academic honours. Now that the damage has been caused how will Mayor Ekema be compensated?

From all indication the battle line has been drawn and certainly the roads of the courts open for Mayor Ekema to claim the University of Buea. As we report the VC of the University of Buea is under surveillance by the state. A commission has also been put in place by patriotic south west elite to open investigation on the authenticity and credibility of Prof Ngomo Horace certificate from the University of Lagos Nigeria.

This whole issue about certificates which is not giving people rest and making rounds on social media has put the Buea University Officials to task, as government is asking what is their contribution in reinstating peace in Cameroon and what initiative  has the VC personally taken to help government out of the situation at hand. Fighting Ekema a patriot whom he would have join to crusade for peace tempts us to see him an anti-crusader for peace and nation building.
